TheWouter reacted to Jeffdadawg in im new to lspdfr and i need some modsHello!
Nice to see that you're enjoying LSPDFR.
As for your list, inhales :
More events. I assume you mean callouts?
Here are some good ones :
You can find more on the site 🙂
You can call backup to assist you in the callouts.
You can use Ultimate Backup here :
https://www.bejoijo.com/post/ultimate-backup
Bejo's plugins are the best out there.
LSPDFR has 2/3 built-in callouts. This includes a Robbery callout, which has a timer.
AFAIK, there is no way to get rid of the timer, but you can immerse yourself with other callouts instead.
For using your microphone to communicate with Dispatch, you can use GrammarPolice.
To talk to peds, you can use StopThePed. No other plugin like it.
Made by Bejo. I highly, highly recommend it.
https://www.bejoijo.com/post/stop-the-ped
Hope this helps! 🙂

Sure, we can add that to the next release.

TheWouter reacted to Sam in LSPDFR 0.4.8 Updated for The Cayo Perico HeistWe've released a minor compatibility update for LSPDFR 0.48 (Build 7659) which adds compatibility for the new version of GTA V (v2189) - The Cayo Perico Heist.
There are no changes in this version other than those necessary to make the mod work on the new game version, although we will likely release a follow-up update (LSPDFR 0.4.9) in the near future which may add further compatibility with some of the new game features introduced by Rockstar Games in The Cayo Perico Heist update.
Note that there were significantly more changes to the game in this update than in previous ones which required more work from both us and the RAGE Plugin Hook team than normal. There may still be outstanding issues, so please report these in the support forums if you come across any.
Please ensure that you now update your game to the latest version of GTA V before playing this new version of LSPDFR 0.4.8, which you can find as normal on the main LSPDFR page.
If you are having problems with LSPDFR 0.4.8, please do not post about them in this topic, but use the support forums instead.
Before you do, though, read through this topic: https://www.lcpdfr.com/forums/topic/89691-read-will-save-your-time-common-issues-fixes-and-bugs
There are a lot of fixes for common problems in there.

TheWouter got a reaction from LSPDhotstuff in [WIP] [beta] WoutersCallouts - More callouts for LCPDFRUnfortunately, because of a busy schedule, I am indeed no longer working on this plugin. Maybe, in the future, I can work on mods for LCPDFR/GTA again, although I would likely work on mods for LSPDFR/GTA5 then.
If somebody with coding experience wants to continue work on this plugin, I am willing to give access to the source.

More callouts for LCPDFR
Introduction
Since the release of LCPDFR v1.0 I have been experimenting with the new API. Since I am one of the (probably) many people who think LCPDFR would benefit from more callouts, I think the addition of the API is a major step and I believe we will see a lot more mods (I should say plugins) with additional callouts, greatly increasing the variety of callouts in LCPDFR.
I should mention that this is a WorkInProgress, and I think it will stay that way. There will always be new callouts to add and different scenarios or locations to be added.
Of course, suggestions for improvements or new callout ideas are more than welcome.
The callouts that can be found in the current release:
Automatic Burglar Alarm Assistance to LTA (Liberty Transport Authority) Fuel theft Traffic collision involving pedestrian Suspicious parked vehicle Robbery in progress Indecent exposure Securicar robbery Civilian attacked in building Suicide attempt Cardiac arrest I am working on a few other callouts, but I am not yet confident about their stability and/or gameplay, so they might be in a later release or I might not release them at all:
People protesting Murder Other than these callouts, I also plan to make lots of other callouts. I will not list them all, but a few I think should not be skipped are:
Hit and run Bar fight etc... Some artwork-like images

TheWouter reacted to LtFlash in The Wasteland - callouts for BohanThe Wasteland 1.0.0
A pack of callouts and world events for the borough of Bohan. The mod is focused on recreating the conditions of policing in high-crime areas of NYC. You can expect dynamic gameplay as well as ordinary police work.
Due to the fact that the pack is still in development stage every aspect of gameplay may be changed.
List of calls:
1. Burglary in the past
Take a report and look for a suspect. Monitor your radio, another sector car may spot your suspect and need your assistance in pursuing him.
2. A car on fire
Cars in Bohan are rather in poor condition. When FD is busy (in South Bohan: always) you got to back them up with some easier jobs.
3. A car is being stripped
It might be stolen car so be there ASAP before they dismantle it to atoms. Make sure you don't spook the "mechanics" with your siren!
4. Sale of narcotics
Drugs are one of the biggest problem in the neibourhood. Help the community and take another dealer from the streets.
5. Homeless people harassing LTA passengers
Just askin' for a dime, huh? A simple question may turn into a violent attack, respond quick when it’s dark!
6. EMS is requesting assistance
Help paramedics with the aggressive patient.
7. Gang-related assault
Despite of gang activity and violent attacks, people are still jogging after dark. Be on scene as soon as possible, otherwise the victim may not survive.
8. A mugging victim calls for help
Mugging is an everyday crime in Bohan. Go and help a complainant. Drive her to the hospital or canvass the area to find a suspect.
9. Prisoner transport
An ordinary job of a patrolman. Transport a prisoner to the station house.
10. Assist patrolman with a "man with a gun" call
Respond on a request of your fellow Officers. You got to be there in case of hell break loose.
11. An unconscious man
Street events attract people like a magnet. Control the crowd until EMS arrives.
12. A street fight
Common occurence in every busy area. Your task is to restore public order.
13. Drug usage
Bohan is highly infested with drugs and you are the one who is suppose to fight it. Take all possible safety measures while handling calls connected with intoxication.
14. Commercial burglary
Store owners are struggling to keep their businesses running. Without police assistance they won’t make it. Be in the right place at the right time to catch goons who destroy the local business.
15. Robbery of street gamblers
What gives more fun than shooting dice with friends? And wherever there is money there are robbers. Keep your gun prepared while responding to this call!
...and all of them with different versions. Together there are tens of scenarios!
Have fun!

What's New in Version 1.0.0
new callout: robbery of street gamblers,
new world events: 1) person with a bat, 2) unconscious civillian, 3) known felon, 3) decaying vehicle, 4) foot pursuit,
new dispatch lines for selected callouts,
bug fixes and improvements. -
TheWouter reacted to LMS in Small programming questions - APIHey, I just had a look into the audio issue. The function PlaySound would call internally was limited to one action, I modified it to split sounds by " " so you should be able to play more than one sound in the next release.
-
Just an update: I fixed all my problems by using the advancedhookinit.asi file that we were told to remove if we were having taser problems. I put the file back in and now have no more crashes!

TheWouter got a reaction from Uhnother Gamer in [WIP] [beta] WoutersCallouts - More callouts for LCPDFRI don't think that callout is from my plugin. In the code my robbery callouts are named RobberyInProgress and SecuricarRobbery, and not Robbery. I think it is a callout of LCPDFR.
Also, I just uploaded the new version of the plugin (still has to be approved). I recompiled it, so it should now work with LCPDFR 1.0c. There is also one new callout: cardiac arrest.

Yes, yes I do. So does my paramedic, and all of my callouts which spawn vehicles. Because I have witnessed them spawn in the water or on a house several times when not using that method. I had it spawn on top of a petrol station once when I wasn't using that method.
-
TheWouter got a reaction from FCV96 in [WIP] [beta] WoutersCallouts - More callouts for LCPDFRThat's weird, I will look into this issue.
This problem is due to GTA IV's memory being full (tend to happen more with a lot of modded vehicles) and it can't spawn the peds. I tried to implement a fix for the next release that will hopefully make this occur less often.
Sure, suggestions are more than welcome. This one is actually already on my list. I hope to be adding it in a future release.

I am currently working on the next version of the plugin. I hope to have it released in a month or so, but I am currently also very busy with other things.
The new version will have bugfixes and 3 new callouts: fight in a building, securicar robbery, suicide attempt.
I have also attached some screens to this post.
