I'm due for a contract renewal in January. I would have renewed next month but Verizon got rid of that program recently. I'd get the Galaxy S4 now if I was up for renewal, but who knows what will be out in January.

Well, I'd say that you don't need the App Store to download things into your Iphone;) Personally, after having paying for a bunch of songs that later were lost and trying to recover them they made me pay again I told them to fuck off. I use even an alternative manager to insert songs and things, which is, in my opinion, handier to use than Itunes (that also deleted the 95% of the songs I had once). At least Apple makes good headphones...
