Have you installed any custom content that replaces any sound files? Have you added any songs? Has this always been an issue, or has it just started to happen?

I searched the query 'Waterford, Michigan Police' and could not find any results that would be of resource for a police modelskin. Maybe you want to provide some examples?

Caine's departure from GPM was a very disheartening matter, and it's also what urged Sam to form this community more into a modding community. Caine is still here every now and then on LCPDFR and GTAForums, but he is currently on leave because of personal matters. We may or may not see him in the future, but until then, I would not worry too much about it. Sam and Caine worked together like peanut butter and jelly, so we'll see what the GTA:V era brings us. You launched everything the same as you did before work? (Running LaunchGTAIV.exe as administrator) You did not install any additional content, or falsely save your game when exiting GTA:IV? I am currently experiencing a much more severe problem that happened over a short period of time, without me installing any additional content. I would do some searching around to see if you can't find a solution.

Were you ever prompted to enter your serial for GTA:IV? If so, did you enter in your serial?

Even if they say that it will be on PC, I will still get it for my Xbox because I like to play the game as fast as I can and I like to play it without any mods. I also have friends that have it pre-ordered.

Crown Victoria ~ Everyone loves that hefty V8 engine in a Crown Vic. That and they look slick inside and out.

I won't recommend anything besides Photoshop. Not giving you ideas, nor am I encouraging you to, but I did not spend a dime on my Photoshop. I know Photoshop has a free trial version too.

I posted these two articles on my site. Thought I would re-post them here. -- Update: This doesn't appear to be traditional posters as such, but rather for promotional boxes (A.K.A. 'Display Cubes'). Some of you may have seen these in your local stores for other games (Rockstar did a similar one for Max Payne 3). Original Article: A retail store promotional poster for GTAV was leaked onto the web today, showcasing the official artwork released earlier in the week, in addition to a never before seen one featuring a different character. But what is of most importance is that these posters list a release date for the game of Spring 2013 (Northern Hemisphere), meaning a release date some time between late March and June of next year. The only platforms listed are Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. As we understand it, these posters are from a popular brand retail store in England - and will be put up soon. We have no official word on the legitimacy behind this, but considering a retail store received this, we can only assume that an official announcement is around the corner. Rockstar Games parent company Take-Two is reporting their financial results this Tuesday, and will be giving updated guidance on their financial projections for the rest of the financial year (ending March 31st, 2013). Previously, they had given sales projections for Rockstar Games that they can only meet with a major Grand Theft Auto release. If they keep that projection, it means they still believe the game is out by March of next year. If they dramatically lower their guidance, this means the game is coming out after March 2013. -- Andy McNamara, Editor-in-Chief of Game Informer, has just announced the release schedule for the upcoming Grand Theft Auto V issue via the magazine's website. The cover will be revealed early US central time on 8th November, and the digital edition is to be released later on the same day. Game Informer have hinted that the story is "huge" with over 18 pages of details and brand new screenshots! Game Informer is a US-based publication, with the print edition only available through subscription or in stores such as GameStop. The Digital edition is available internationally through the iTunes/Android and PC/Mac market.

Have you tried installing LCPDFR? I know it contains some additional files that could help in case you did not delete everything from GTA:IV.

A while back ago, my GTA would take ages to load up only for a black screen to appear. This was random and I do not know what caused it. I did not have any change in script mods or content mods. Today, I finally decided to reinstall GTA and I was able to get through the copyright and Rockstar logos but my start up screen did not load. Just again, a black screen. I also noticed both times that Social Club could not make a connection if that helps.

We do not condone in the activity of piracy on this board.

Car engine sounds are located in 'streamed_vehicles.rpf'. Car misc. sounds are located in 'resident.rpf' and named aptly (i.e. COLLISIONS, DOORS, etc.) -- Thanks for the share. I need to try this out.
