  1. Oh, I got you. Thought you meant the AI cars. Hopefully you made a backup of the vehicle image, DrDetroit
  2. Would it be possible to get this car with the steel cop rims?
  3. Yup, I think DarthWound hit the nail on the head. My game crashes like crazy when I used those Vapid Cruisers by Lt. Cain. Too bad, I like those cars. DrDetroit

  5. You may be right about the fact it wouldn't look right. Hard to say, haven't see a Dart cop car yet...just a thought. Cool car though. Thanks for the work...both of you guys. DrDetroit
  6. Nice model also RobertB, but needs steel rims with center cap...cop wheels. BTW: Love that Sheriff skin...do you have that for a CVPI or Taurus? DrDetroit

  8. I believe that is a LOD issue with the model. There are various LODs used at certain distances, and I think the med/far LODs are screwed up on some of the models released. Just use a different one. I get that sometimes as well with certain cars. If I'm half a block away from certain models, there are no wheels and sometimes no skin either, until the car gets within a quarter-block or so. DrDetroit
  9. The Witcher was OK, although lost interest before I finished the game. I always preferred Oblivion - The Elder Scrolls and Skyrim. DrDetroit
  10. Yes, an LED light bar would be nice. Thanks again! DrDetroit
  11. Nope, looks like you got it all there. Although, maybe the slim-line primary emergency lights instead of the one on there now (is that a Javelin light system? Not versed on the various names yet). EDIT: Oh, and put some steel cop-rims on it too if you wouldn't mind. Anyhow, lookin' good buddy. Keep up the good work. DrDetroit
  12. Dodge Dart, cute car. Looks like you're doing a great job. Keep it up!! DrDetroit
  13. I'm not versed with Windows 8, but try and kill the bloatware and unnecessary processes via task manager (if there is a tm still). It's that or maybe Win-8 is not suitable for many games, I hear peeps with a lot of issues gaming with Win8. DrDetroit
  14. Installer needs to be run as Administrator and uncheck "read-only" for the game directory. If you are not sure if you have everything installed correctly, run the Diagnostic Tool located in the download section and post here. Also, try unchecking tazer when installing LCPDFR, that may help and make sure you have only Dsound or Xlive (Xliveless), not both. DrDertroit
  15. Try using xlive.dll instead of Dsound. Also, you have to run the installer as administrator and uncheck the tazer when installing. That causes issue for some people. DrDetroit
  16. There is something like that at GTA4-mods.com or GTApolicemods.com , pretty sure its at GTA4-mods though. The one I'm thinking of, the cops will follow you if your suspicion level high enough and if you do something like run a light, they will light you up and pull you over. Look through the scripts section. I wasn't sure if it would conflict with LCPDFR so never tried it. DrDetroit
  17. Yup, that resolution will require more horse power for sure. Try turning down textures to med or low and shadows to off and water quality to low. Also. decrease vehicle density to under 20 and draw distance and detail under 20-25. That should help, especially turning off shadows and water quality. DrDetroit
  18. What Tunes said, and use the LaunchGTA.exe or LaunchEFLC.exe, which ever one you're playing, instead of GTAIV.exe DrDetroit
  19. Nothing to really save since there is no plot or time related content. Go on duty for a shift, then off duty and do your thing. Do not save game while LCPDFR is activated either, it will crash your game. If you have the business mod or any mod with a time factor involved, go off duty and then save game at the safe house or with the Save Anywhere mod (don't have to go back to the safe house to save game). DrDetroit
  20. I've never had that issue once I have moved the car and save. Remember to exit the game, then restart. If you just load the new save without exiting the game, the game will crash because the car will still be where you parked it (i.e: has not despawned yet.). DrDetroit
  21. Run game at 1600x1200, or higher, that will help alot. Lower res, like 1080, just don't do it for me at all. DrDetroit
  22. There is a thread here somewhere, pinned, that explains how to get it to work with Windows8. That may be your issue. Just use the search function and you'll find it. DrDetroit
