Lazlow Jones - Anybody ever run into him in LC?
I was just curious if anybody has run into Lazlow doing his show while cruising LC? During his show you hear him doing his "Man on the Street" interviews and whatnot. Would be kinda funny if you could actually run into him while doing his schtick. Good day, DrDetroit

Something to haul away dead peds ect
I just found the coroner mod last night and it is excellent! Now I can get the dead bodies off the streets after I make a mess of a traffic stop. Good day, DrDetroit

High gang areas?
Check the forum for a post that has a downloadable list of gangs, where they hang and photos to boot. I think the post is called "gang list" or something like that.. Good day, Dr.Detroit

IV Dashcam V2 Lag issue
I'm loving the IVDash Cam mod by Sniper, it's a really cool mod, but I'm experiencing lag when it's installed. My game runs very very smooth without it and a bit too laggy with it installed (not as bad as a slide-show, but bad enough to be distracting and to start a topic). Didn't see any posts (did the search) regarding this topic, so I figure maybe I'm missing a setting or something to smooth out the game play. Thanks again for the great mod in any event! Good day, DrDetroit

Police Stations
If installed properly, when you hit ALT+P, you get a message in the upper left hand of the screen saying you have activated the mod. You will also see stars in the mini map showing where all the police stations are. If you don't get that message when you activate the mod, check that you installed the mod into the correct folder. Good luck! DrDetroit

Unistalling GTA IV
Don't forget to manually delete the GTA IV folder (and EFLC folder if applicable). I also scrub my registry entries so there are no conflicts when I re-install the game. Just did a complete install of GTA IV and EFLC due to a porked mod install (should have backed up my GTAIV and EFLC folders). Now I know better. BTW: I didn't have to pay for a new games. Installed without issue or cost. Good day, DrDetroit

In-Game Time: Possible to slow game time?
Is it possible to slow down the in-game time? The time flys by at about 10-seconds real time for every 1-min of in-game time. I'd like to slow down the in-game time to more like 1:2 ratio (30-sec real time for every minute that passes in-game). Don't see any posts related to this subject, not sure if it's possible to do at all. Thanks in advance! Good day, DrDetroit

Am I Getting My Hopes Up?
Hello all, my first post. I just found this mod yesterday and I'm really enjoying it so far. It's a natural premise for GTA IV and executed very well (actually love this mod!). I've always been astonished that Rockstar Games has never implemented something like this in the retail releases. It's a nice change from the rampaging murdering lunatic that the game always brings out of me. Very nice change of pace to be on the other end of the radar gun (and tickets) for once. Although, I still get the urge to "rough up" the hoodlums without the worry of cops getting in the way of my payday (brings the movie Training Day to mind). If you like GTA IV, how could you not love this mod!? I'm a little leery of installing other mods though, as from the few posts I've read, they can be a cause of the game crashing and whatnot. Seems the high poly vehicles are a problem as well, from what I'm seeing on these boards (still reading though the forums, so not yet well versed in the idiosyncarcies of the mods in general). In any event, this will keep you up late at night for sure! Good thing you're getting your PC version Friday...gives you about 72-hours of game play before work/school on Monday...sleep is overrated anyhow. BTW: One thing that would be a nice feature; have a loose campaign mode where you start as a street/beat cop. As you make arrests and whatnot, you get bumped to a patrol unit (and get a car). Then eventually you move up the ranks to undercover cop (and better cars and equipment), NOOSE, FIB, etc. Just a thought. I also wanted to say to the developers/testers and everybody in between; Thanks so much for this mod. All the time and effort that went into this is very much appreciated. Good day, Dr.Detroit
