Just curious, are you guys using GTAIV or EFLC? GTAIV may not be as stable as EFLC and ELSv7. EDIT: Just noticed you said "Broker Safehouse", so you're using GTAIV. I'm using EFLC, wonder if GTAIV is having the crashing issues that I keep seeing on these boards. I really don't have huge crashing issue with EFLC and ELSv7...like I said, every other game or less is crashing and usually within 10-minutes or so after leaving Northwood safehouse. Upon startup after the crash, I can play for a few hours. DrDetroit

I've had a few CTD as well, presumably due to ELS v7. Happened twice out of four games and if it's gonna CTD seems to happen quickly, within 10-15min or so. When I jump back into the game after the CTD I have no issues, can go a few hours normally. i was thinking maybe just some of the cars that aren't ELS v7 compatible could be causing something to go berserk and crash my game every now and then (Vapid ELS police was the last car I was getting out of when game last crashed). Didn't crash when I use NickieBs cars for two-hours straight. Weird. Post up if you find a solution. Not a game killer and I think ELS v7 is awesome! Good day, DrDetroit

You modders and texture guys are good and do excellent work! Love the work you guys put out there. I guess you could look at the thefts as a medal of honor in some ways, they like your stuff so much that they steal it and put their own name on it. Just make sure you have activated the cars you want to use ELS, located in the ELS.ini file. Scroll down and you'll see the different police car slots with "off" next to it, make sure the car slot you're using is set to "on". Also, as stated above, I interchanged my ALT and CTRL keys in the ELS.ini, seems the CTRL is conflicting with a few of my mods. Now my Alt+M key opens the ELS menu, not the default CTRL+M. Good luck! Don't have both asi loaders at the same time. Use Dsound or Xliveless...one or the other. I happen to use xliveless, for some reason. DrDetroit

CTRL+M. If you can't get that far, you probably can't turn on the lights (J = Three modes, so hit J three times to run through the three modes). Oh, and RTFM! DrDetroit

I changed the ELS menu key to Alt instead of Ctrl. I just reversed the two keys in the ELS.ini. DrDetroit

Go to the ELS.ini and scroll down to the various cars and enable ELS for the car(s) you want to use ELS with (change from "off" to "on"). Good luck! DrDetroit

What difference would that make? You'd still have to go into the .ini and turn off the cars that don't have ELS. Some of us don't mod every single car slot with ELS. Oh and RTFM! Good day, DrDetroit

Been using this mod for awhile now. It's pretty cool! My stores are always getting robbed. The only thing that is missing in this mod is the ability to sell your businesses. I'd like to get rid of the clothing store in Bohan. Good day, DrDetroit

Not a common problem far as I'm aware. Sometimes it's a little temper-mental, just make sure you pull right up behind the car, you should see a text at the bottom of the screen "Exit Your Vehicle". Also, you can try cancelling the stop (by hitting shift again) and initiating the stop again. Good day, DrDetroit

I'd have to respectfully disagree with you on the above point. I think the pursuits, while cool and fun, are not the best part of LCPDFR. There's so much more if you use the other mods like Braveheart and Police Helper. Anyhow, to your point; yes, they do sometimes quit when they could keep the chase going. I notice this on maybe 40%-50% of the chases I'm involved in. Not sure why, you could try going into the policing.ini and set resist arrest to TRUE. That may help. DrDetroit

Kudos! You guys from Europe/South America are pretty damn smart, knowing more than one language. I've been working on my Spanish for a year and still struggling (damn conjugated verbs mess me up). I just call the tow truck and have those cars removed...usually with a citation. If the tow truck is causing issues, you can go into the .ini and change how it spawns. DrDetroit

Friggin' road bikes...What a puss! Shake it off dude! I use to race DH moutain bikes in the NORBA Nationals and took bigger spills than that going 40mph downhill at Mammoth Mountain and Big Bear (during the Shaun Palmer days). Now that shit is dangerous and fast. DrDetroit

Calm down buddy! No need to get excited. You're right, you can stop anywhere you want, you'll also get killed doing so if some idiot driver isn't paying attention. FYI: just because the idiot driver should have been paying attention and stop don't mean she/he will, as we can plainly see. DrDetroit

EFLC doesn't lag as much and more variety of cars, BUT you can't enter most of the shops ect that are open for Nico...who cares. Yes, run the diagnostic tool and post the results. Good day, DrDetroit

I think the part about no damage being inflicted is the Braveheart Script. It was fixed in a previous version, but with the latest version the peds are immune to damage from fists or the good ole' baton. DrDetroit
