British Serviceman Decapitated in a London Street
That is as vicious and evil as it gets. Make no mistake that Evil walks among us all. It's hard to believe in a civilized society that one man can be hack to death by another man, a stranger no less, for no apparent reason what-so-ever, right in the middle of a busy street. Prayers to that victim's family and friends. DrDetroit

Off-Duty Cop Mod?
Nope, It's not pirated...it's a 60 or 90 day free trial that I got off of Harper's link above. I buy everything I own. I can't stand thieves! By the way; If I purchase the software, is the professional version the one I should get? And thanks for the heads up on how to compile/save the script. DrDetroit

Off-Duty Cop Mod?
That was my next question; would I save the text as .cs or .net.dll? Looks like most of my scripts are the .net.dll extension, not sure what the difference is. In any event, I'll install VS and see how I can tweak the script, it will help that it's a simple script that I can play with. I just DL's a free version of VS 2012 professional. Thanks again guys for the interest and help, very much appreciated. Good day, DrDetroit

Thanks Harper, I was going to play around with that script. Just trying to figure out what software you scriptors use to write scripts...think I had seen a tutorial on this site, will check it out. Thanks again fellas'! DrDetroit

XBOX Reveal
I just might have to break down and get one just so I can jump into Red Dead Redemption and GTAV. Although once GTAV is released on PC and when I'm burnt out on RDR, it will probably gather dust, we'll see. Good day, DrDetroit

Police horse (Rideable)
A horse body/torso, minus the legs, on a a Vapid chassis...that'd be close enough. Would be kinda like the Oscar Meyer Weener mobile with a siren. EDIT: ...or on a faggio ;-) DrDetroit

Off-Duty Cop Mod?
Good afternoon, So, when my business get's robbed (Farnsworth Business Mod), or an armed gunman starts shooting up my Burger Shots while I'm off-duty, is there a mod that would allow me to flash a badge at the arriving cops, after I kill the SOB, so they stand down and don't come after me for defending my place? If not, might be a good script idea for when off-duty and something goes down to where you have to use leathel force. Would essentially end the wanted level. Good day, DrDetroit

Traffic Flow R5 V2 - Very Long Cutscenes Loading Time
For my system, when I added one mid-poly ELS car, that triggered the taxi bug. Taxis' and cop cars as far as the eye can see, nothing else. When I revert back to low poly cars (original cars or slightly high quality of the original cars) then I have no taxi bug issue. Try modding one car, don't mod any other car, and see if you get the taxi bug. DrDetroit

GTA IV FATAL ERROR: Out of Video momory - Please reboot your System. All from my mods.
There is a thread somewhere, it's pinned in the mod section I think, that has all the low poly non-els and els cars. Also, you can go to the download section and select non-els cars (right-hand side web panel). There you'll find all the non-els low, mid and high poly cars on this website. There is a nice non-els car right on the "Featured" download section as well. Just try modding the Noose slot with ELSv7, and if that works, add another to the nStockade or pStockade slots (just point nStockade handling id to police or police2 and change the vehicle "game name" to a car you like). GTA IV fails to launch game!!
Run the G17 Diagnostics tool and post the results. Also, post your scripthook text file and system specs.. Don't attach the text files, use a spoiler tag or just copy and past to your message. Most peeps will not DL an attachment from somebody we don't know. Also, is your GTAIV a legit copy or pirated? Good day, DrDetroit

Traffic Flow R5 V2 - Very Long Cutscenes Loading Time
I think you'll have issue modding with any massive vehicle pack. GTAIV just doesn't like modded cars, it's a problem with just a few cop cars, modding all the AI vehicles that spawn constantly is not advised in my opinion, unless you have a really good rig like Nutt's specs, but even then you may have issues. GTAIV just doesn't like modded cars. Try modding one car type at a time and then play the game. If no issues, then mod another, then play again. Do that until your game starts messing up, then you know when it's time to stop adding cars. I've used almost all the taxi bug fixes and the best one, with my rig, is Traffic Load and Chikmaru's Real Traffic. I've been switching between the two. Try Traffic Load, as it's easier on the system, and go into the .ini and play with the number of cars that spawn and the amount of ped and car traffic that spawns. There is a tad bit of texture flashing after 45-minutes or so because I have my ped and car multiplier settings at 200%, but it's not bad as the textures pop back within a few milliseconds and the issue is not constantly occurring. The other traffic/taxi bug fixes only offer like 20-cars that spawn (out of 80+ cars in-game) and the traffic spawns is in alleys, the beach and on the Boardwalk in Bohan...places where there should be no traffic at all. Sp4s12sNewCallouts : More callouts, more fun !
REPOST: I like the script, however, you should tweak it a little. Instead of terrorist call, you should make it a APB alert (All Point Bulletin), looking for a certain suspect in a certain type and color car. There should be no GPS tracking and only vague, if any, indication of where the car/suspect is located. While on patrol, you'll keep a sharp eye out, but not necessarily chasing the vehicle until it's spotted. The call-out text (or APB) would look something like: "Suspect last spotted in Northwood, a green Huntley with one white male. Proceed with caution, subject is armed." Not much else would need to be changed script wise, just get rid of the GPS location and change up the call-out text. Pretty cool script though. DrDetroit

GTA V Police DLC
Yes, I do get that 100%! I love that part too. What I'm saying is what I already said above; aside from your assumption that 1%-10% wanting to play as a cop, that has no bearing on my point. I'm not saying get rid of the main body of the game, plotline, or all the reckless killing (the best part of course), my point that I'm trying to express to you is that it does not take much effort, time or money for R* to allow script the free roam mode, and allow us to jump into a cop ped and a cop car, in free roam, and cruise around, looking for peds to arrest. I'm not saying all the bells and whistles upon release, just the ability to free roam as a cop, an arrest function, ect. Also, I'd bet more people would be interested in playing as a cop if it was an option. So the percentage that everybody references is not applicable at all, because I'm just talking about a free roam script to play as a cop, not GTAV The Cop Game. The beauty of it is that, if R* wanted to expand the residual income a few hundred basis points (at a minimum), they could release really cool DLCs, like they did with TBOGT and TLATD and the cost to implement would be nominal at best. Added residual profit for very minimal cost to implement = no brainer! Good day, DrDetroit

GTA V Police DLC
It wouldn't take that long or much resources for R* to script a cop player into the game's exe. I mean, it wouldn't take a professional group of coders whom created GTAV very long to make it so you can select a cop and get in the cop car to pull over arrest the bad guys. A week or two at most maybe? I'm sure they already have some random ped crimes coded already (city life ambiance), just like GTAIV, so not a huge effort for those guys to make a cop player-ped and allow us to get into a car adn play the cop in "free roam", not rocket science. They can release DLCs for cop scenarios (scripts) and/or let the modding community go to town on their own. This sort of game model would allow R* to continue to cash in on the cop DLCs for people whom want them and we can keep seeing new content. It's a typical symbiotic relationship between the consumer and company, everybody is happy and we will always have new professional content AND modding community content. That's my $0.02. Traffic Flow R5 V2 - Very Long Cutscenes Loading Time
That vehicle pack is huge, the cars mid-high poly, and unless you have an uber rig, you're game will take forever to load, you're game will crash all over the place and I bet massive texture loss. It basically mods a vast amount of cars, handling lines and at a higher poly count for each car. Those cars spawn all the time, so unless you have a phat rig, don't bother. Looks like a cool mod though, but too much hassle for mid-range gaming rig like mine. Good day, DrDetroit

GTA IV FATAL ERROR: Out of Video momory - Please reboot your System. All from my mods.
Not exactly low poly...those cars are almost 4meg wft file and 3meg texture file....I'd say high-poly. Try and mod Noose, police3, police4 or Nstockade...cars that do not spawn that often. Leave police and police2 as low poly non-els. That will help alot. DrDetroit
