  1. The #1 problem with most politicians is that most have never had a job in the private sector. Never had to meet payroll, employee expenses, liabilities, balancing the books (budgets), hire/fire employees, pay the employer payroll taxes, tax withholding, and have never had to meet sales deadlines and projections. How the hell does someone whom has never been in business pretend to know what is best for business. How do you pass laws if you have absolutely no idea how it will effect business costs because of lack of experience in private industry...in the end it costs you and me, the taxpayers, and in the end employment numbers. A NY senator here in the US (forgot his name, a Dummycrate- Moynihan I think) a number of years ago tried to open up a business in NYC after he retired from the US Senate. The business went out of business within the first 6-months. This idiot Senator said in an interview that had he known what it was like to run a business, he would have voted differently. That's all you need to know. Pay attention to those you vote for and their previous actions...not what they say in the heat of an election, because they all lie about what they believe. It's what they have done in past votes that will tell you what they really believe. Wake up folks! Time to take the power back. DrDetroit
  2. Try over 17-trillion (17,000,000,000,000)...that's 17e12 for those mathematicians....not 12.5. If the US dollar collapses, so will the world economy, since the worlds reserve funds is the US dollar. We'll all be in deep doo-doo, since bread will cost more than you can carry in a suitcase. DrDetroit
  3. The video Police Escape Prank is pretty hilarious...and backup PD showed up. I'm surprised they got away! Wonder what the cops would have done if they caught the guy. Funny vids... DrDetroit
  4. Same here in the form of a "dog license tag"...I didn't register my dog though...and never will. I walk him all over the place without that stupid tag too. Of course I had to pay taxes when I bought the dog....bastards will get you coming and going. There was a news report that a local city here, Royal Oak, was going to send officers door to door to check for dog licenses. Never happened, but there is supposedly a memo floating around from some city office about the "enforcement action". I wouldn't put it past them for one minute. Friggin' like Nazi Germany or Mother Russia if you ask me. DrDetroit
  5. Vote the bastards out of office. Anybody who proposes such nonsense should not have a position of power anyhow. I don't know about you people, some may not realize yet, since many are young here, but you will. I pay nearly 50% of my gross income in taxes...Federal, State, County, Local, City...I'm not even counting gas tax, cigarette taxes, taxes on purchases, taxes on my gas and electric, my phone bill taxes, plane ticket taxes, taxes on my taxes...enough is enough already. That means I work 50% of the year for the government. They steal my production, which means they steal my time. You steal someones time, they are a slave. Now the scum want more of my money...they can suck it! I feel really bad for anybody making under $60k-$70k a year...this regressive tax hurts the middle and lower income the most. I can afford it, that income range can't. Insidious at best...downright evil if you ask me. EDIT: BTW: yes, they do tax everything and they want all your income. They will dole out enough for you to suffer a short life, then throw you into an Obamacare pool where you'll die of thirst in the hallway of a hospital. If you try to sit, they'll tax your seat, if you try to walk they'll tax your feet...taxman!!! (the Beatles - Taxman). DrDetroit
  6. I only play EFLC with LCPDFR, since EFLC is much better FPS wise. I have my polpat and nstockade modded with little issue. Strange... DrDetroit
  7. I have that same issue with certain models in the polpat slot. Some models bug out my game big time, I end up having to force start LCPDFR and calling for a car drop off in front of the police station. In particular, I was having issue with the GTAV Granger model in that slot, and certain Tahoe models. No idea though...I just switch to a different model. Now mine runs without issue with the BxBuggs123 Tahoe PPV models (ELS) and NickieB models (hope I got the correct name), but crashes with other models. So I don't change that model...the Tahoe never goes away or is replaced. Good luck! DrDetroit
  8. I-3 processor with on board graphics is not good for gaming. No expert, but I think the MoBo is sub-par as well. DrDetroit
  9. I put a HEMI in mine, lowered the suspension a tad. The Vapid is a rocket. DrDetroit
  10. That is a good idea. Then we can keep an eye out for the vehicle/ped during the patrol duration. The script would probably have to keep the vehicle/ped from de-spawning, but also removing the blip until the vehicle/ped is spotted by the police. Wish I could script, would be a nice add on. DrDetroit
  11. I don't use SNT either, so this is helpful.

  13. Not a huge fan of Chargers, but that one looks like a beast. Is it available? Skin is sweet too... DrDetroit
  14. Urinal! It's Unreal, not urinal....LOL....spilt my scotch! DrDetroit
  15. Good deal. I've never really had issue, but glad it works for you too. Like I said, for me it's difficult to play without it. DrDetroit
  16. Nope. I disabled the ambient stuff in PH, seems to helps with crashes, but never had too many issues with PH to begin with. It almost impossible for me to play without it (I use for ambulance, coroner, evidence, ID check on dead bodies, fire extinguisher, bait car and barricade-most useful when pulling over a car on the highway or busy street.). I can do 2-hours easy without crashing, about as long it takes to play one 12-hour shift in-game. Still get random crashes once in a while, but you know how GTAIV is, crash prone. DrDetroit
  17. Use PH for ambulance calls, they drive almost perfect. Not like the nut jobs included with LCPDFR. As for cop AI, use F8, it helps, but they still are crazy sobs! I did notice how much better the suspect AI drives in the latest version of LCPDFR (1.0-1.0b). They make high speed corners perfectly, don't run over peds and other objects, the AI stays on the road and hauls ass most of the time. Sometimes I have a hard time keeping up and chases take a while to complete most of the time. Personally speaking, that is a huge improvement. DrDetroit
  18. I usually take an average speed for the road I'm clocking, then set the radar to go off at or over that speed. If anybody comes by over that "set" limit, I pull them over. Funny thing is with the radar I'm using, for the most part the average speed on one of the faster divided highways is like 25-30mph...I think it's a calculation issue with the radar script. Oh well... DrDetroit
  19. You have to install into the TBOGT vehicle.img file, not the EFLC image file (like GreenAid has stated). So the path to the bikes is something like this: C:Program Files (x86)SteamSteamAppscommonGrand Theft Auto IV Episodes from Liberty CityEFLCTBoGTpcmodels Just rename the model's wft and wtd files to policeb and install. All done! Good luck!
  20. You can change weapons located in the trunk. Like the above poster has stated; it's located in the lcpdfr.ini file, located in the lcpdfr folder which is in your game directory. Also, if you want to change weapons carried as a sidearm, you have to install the weapon model with SparkIV. I don't use any default weapons any longer. I use nothing but high poly, high detail weapon models. Nice ones can be had at gta4-mods.com. EDIT: BTW; if changing the weapons in the trunk, you have to use the appropriate weapon name located in the back of the LCPDFR manual. DrDetroit
  21. Hastings is correct, although the drug deals can be male or female. I've had a few busts with these drug deals, usually one or both will run. You just keep a close eye on groups and you'll see a hand-off and the camera will focus on the event as well, if focus is turned on. You can order both peds to stop, one at a time and sometimes they will. Then you can search and arrest. If they both continue to run, then ALT+E when aiming at the perp will mark the ped as a suspect and all cops in the area will give chase, while you handle the other ped. DrDetroit
  22. There is a pack on this site that changes all the cops in the game; better textures, uniforms, equipment and badges (I don;t think it changes the fat cops though). It's really done very well. Point being, it has really nicely done FBI as well as undercover peds...far better than the stock models. I'll try to dig it up in a bit. I use undercover for bait car, gang and prostitution. For some ALPR notifications I'll pull over the car, like stolen or sometime drunk drivers. I'll blow off the small stuff though. Also, you'll see random drug deals going on in the city, I look closely for those instances as well. I don't mess with speeders, disturbance call-outs, most ALPR notifications, ect. I leave that to the Sheriff and NYPD. DrDetroit
