Damn TomH, that looks really nice, very professional. If you aren't in that industry, you should be. DrDetroit

Texture Loss
I know sometimes the timecycle I use really makes texture loss really bad...same with certain mods (various traffic mods). After messing with various time-cycles (I don't use ENB), I notice some cause FPS loss and bad texture bug. Same with certain car mods as well. Good luck! DrDetroit

Buses
Yup, Luke is correct, use Traffic Load for busses that are moving through traffic. They are a bit of a pain though, and hardly stop at lights. Good luck! DrDetroit

The Greatest Dashcam Video Ever
I've seen my buddy do that a few times at the bar, after two quadruple pours of Reme Martin Cognac. Like a tree falling in the forest. DrDetroit

First Person mod?
Good deal. Love that mod. You can adjust the x, y and z axis for the cam as well. For the new GTAV peds I had to move the cam forward about 3-inches so I don't see the jaw bone. You can also expand and narrow down the field-of-view as well. DrDetroit

LCPD:FR + Modded Vehicles
I would try a command line so you utilize all the GPUs RAM. Make a text document called commandline.txt, then paste the below lines. Mine is as follows; -availablevidmem 2 -noprecache -novblank -norestrictions -nomemrestrict You can add and remove lines to fit your machine. You can change the command line then run the game to test it. The one above happens to work well with my setup as I only have a 512m card but it uses up to 4gigs of Vram...so the command line allows my setup to utilize the RAM needed, which makes a whole world of difference. You can bump up the -availablevidmem number to whatever GPU gigs of RAM you have; 1, 2, 3, 4...although I think the game only really recognizes up to 2-gigs. In any event, when modding the game, just make sure to test each mod after installing, by running the game for awhile. When you know the mod you just installed works in-game, then add the next. Will save a lot of headaches in the future. EDIT: Forgot to mention that you place the commandline.txt in the games root folder (EFLC: C:Program Files (x86)SteamSteamAppscommonGrand Theft Auto IV Episodes from Liberty CityEFLC). Good luck DrDetroit

LCPD:FR + Modded Vehicles
I have no issues modding cars with any version of LCPDFR, including 1.0 and 1.0b. Many here don't. Until recently, I had several low and high poly cop cars in all cop car slots, and a dozen civilian very high-poly modded cars (some as high as 14megs). I recently reverted back to the basics, which does make the game run much smoother, without the lagging and texture loss some may experience. I now have only my noose, polpat, fbi and nstockade with high poly police cars, and low poly modded cars (vanilla modded cars) in my police-police 4. Probably something in your setup. DrDetroit

First Person mod?
Did you try this; http://www.gta4-mods.com/script/first-person-107-compatible-f9171#download EDIT: I don't use Dsound, I use xLive...maybe that has something to do with the issues. Just a thought.

First Person mod?
Yea, I use that 1st person mod on EFLC with no issue. Just drop files into root folder (per Ekalb). You have to tap 'V' in quick succession to enable it while on foot. While in the car, just run through the views until you get to the 1st person. Great mod, hope you get it working. Really gives the game a new "feel" to it. DrDetroit

AdSense Questions
Man, I must be way behind the times, didn't know peeps make that kind of loot off youtube subscribers...or views....however that works. Good job sergiyj! EDIT: I believe that is certainly earned income, so you will have to pay taxes in the year it's earned (assuming your in the US). Youtube will probably send you a 1099, or you can most likely print one off the site. DrDetroit

LCPDFR for GTA IV or EFLC
EFLC is far better running, smoother, with less crashing than that of GTAIV. Plus like the guys above said, you get extra car slots and a police bike too! Go with EFLC. DrDetroit

Different Way of Policing in different Country
In the USA cops can't just approach a citizen an check ID...for the most part. In New York City, they had a 'stop-and-frisk' policy, which I believe now has been done away with since the new mayor can into office (Deblasio sp?). This is actually unconstitutional, as unreasonable search and seizure (5th Amendment of the US Constitution - guarantees right to privacy of his/her person and personal property against unreasonable search and seizures), but far as I know nobody has challenged any of the stop-frisk in Federal Court...yet. Anyone know where I could get a British Crown Vic?
Would be very weird looking to me, neat, but weird looking. That car probably drinks too much gas and too big for Europe. Although haven't been yet (going to France, Belgium, Holland, and Germany this fall), seems the roads are kinda small and tight. More fitting for a smaller car or motorcycle. 5-speed, 5.0L...wow, that's gotta move quick. DrDetroit

Vehicle Accident Call Outs
Funny thing happened that made me think of this thread. A spontaneous, high speed, multiple vehicle accident. I think it was a PH related event. Was sitting on the side of Middle Park Dr clocking speeders (smoke and coffee break!), and this cab comes hauling past me at 60mph, so I try to catch up and pull over the speeder. He wasn't running or anything, just going very fast and kinda reckless driving. As I'm trying to roll up on the taxi, he was still a half a block in front of me when I see him fly through an intersection (was a red light for him) and plows into several cars, deflects off one and ends up smacking into the side of a building. He dies at the scene, instantly. The other cars also had fatalities and all cars were pretty well damaged as well. Nothing to do but call the coroner and medics. Never really had seen this happen before like this, so thought appropriate. Not exactly a scripted moment, but an interesting, spontaneous, true MVA incident. DrDetroit

Vehicle Accident Call Outs
I think Braveheart's callouts have MVAs...can't remember as it's been awhile since I've used it. I could be thinking of ver .95 though. It is out there, and it's two vehicles, usually smoking and inoperable. DrDetroit

Ever seen a police escort?
I've seen several presidential motorcades rolling down the highway and surface streets. The cops block off highway on/off ramps and every single crossroad that the motorcade goes through. You see two-three presidential limos, makes it hard to tell which one the president is in, surrounded by what seems like hundreds of cop cars with emergency lights on. Was pretty crazy to see the huge procession moving at like 80-90mph. Seen probably three-four of them. I actually worked and setup a presidential rally with George HW Bush at the Palace of Auburn Hills where I was a house roadie. It get's much crazier when you have to enter the building and have to deal with the Secret Service people. EDIT: Oh, also seen the Pope's motorcade as well...John Paul II...just as big of a motorcade as the pres. DrDetroit

Call-Out/Traffic Stop
I usually roll in 1st person, so when approaching it's easier to see in the vehicle, I make sure there is no gun in the drivers hand. Soon as you get close to the marker the driver will sometimes pull the gun, just back off to the rear of the car and shoot the bastard. If you have a partner, he will also assist (usually) to take the perp down. If not paying attention, you'll get bushwhacked pretty good and usually get gunned down. DrDetroit

LCPD New Motorcycle Unit
You do all that work on the skin, then release it with a crappy pic so nobody can actually see it.
