Welcome to the world of Liberty City Fire and Rescue. They kill far more people than they save. I usually end up pulling the guy out of the ambulance and either shooting him or beating the crap outta him, then I'll call the coroner to clean up. Use Abraxas PH and call for the ambulance that way, they seem to behave a bit better. Although I opt for the coroner, as they sometimes will revive the ped, if not, oh well. Stick with DSF models, not BxBuggs or LTCaine. The DSF models are usually under 1.5mb and fairly detailed. They don't looks as nice, detailed and clean, especially while in 1st person view, like the BxBuggs/Lt Cain models, but the DSFs are nice models that are very low poly for the quality you get with them. My vehicle.img files have one slot with a nice ELS BxBuggs (nstockade, since it never spawn), and my polpatriot is a nice Tahoe slicktop ELS model. All other cop car slots are low/mid poly and non-els. I keep my police-police4 slots with a Ekalb Vapid, the new GTAV Vapid Strainer, Strainer slicktop and the GTAV Buffalo Traffic patrol. Looks great and runs smooth. After adjusting my setup a little bit, I rarely crash now days, and having a little bit better frames, which means my 1.0 call-outs don't get the "disregard" messages all the time, when heading to a call. Also, in the lcpdfr.ini there is an option to add/remove weapons that you can get out of your trunk (boot). I went in and added the M4, just for special occaisions. DrDetroit

Again, I'm referring to the fact that this is what I have heard and read about the huge radical Muslim immigrant population causing issue across the pond, in particular England and France. This was around the time of the riots, and again around the time that young solider in England was run over, stabbed and then nearly beheaded, by Muslim extremist who said he did it in the name of Allah and Islam. You just don't hear about mobs of Christians running amok, rioting and murdering Muslims in cold blood. Sorry if that offends, but it's true. Yes, thank you for clarifying CP. Furthermore; I didn't meant to pin it on one religion, it's just what I hear about the big immigration problems in England and France in particular. I was just referring to that issue and the hard core haters in that religion. Religion isn't the problem, it's the people in it...just like anything else I guess. Nope. I'm pretty sure LCPDFR and GTAIV only support XboX controllers. I have a PS3 and I can't even use that controller. Although, I like the mouse+keyboard better for shooting and action buttons, the controller is better for driving in my opinion (and controller better for kicking back in a chair/sofa/lounge). 58fps is pretty good, should be smooth as silk. How much more FPS you expect? Also, as I understand it, if you monitor is 60hz, you'll max out at about 60fps, at least visually. Not certain if the computer will push the higher frames if your monitor is limited at 60hz. To get higher FPS visually, assuming the CPU can handle higher fps, you need at least 120hz monitor in order for the higher fps to be evident. DrDetroit

It's OK but I like IV much more, at this point, especially with the mods like LCPDFR. Liberty City feels so much more alive than LS. Also, although LS is a "bigger" map, it just seems empty when compared to LC. Eagerly waiting for a SP DLC. That should renew my interest until the PC version comes out. DrDetroit

I too had that error, crashing while targeting ped in a car, but mine was the "freval_77" error. Every time I would try and have the ped get out of the car by targeting ped + E my game crashed. I removed almost all scripts (only kept Police Helper, Tow Mod and coroner mod), reverted modded cars to original (police only, kept my civi mods installed), reinstalled Scripthook, removed MY_COP cop ped mods, No ENB, and reinstalled xlive. Also reduced a few in-game settings (no shadows, low water quality, lowered distance and car density also to 17). After that my crashes stopped when targeting peds while they are in the car (aim + E). I still get the random crashing after an hour or two, from time-to-time, but the game is now very playable. Just try and mess around with your settings and install. Probably something in your setup/install causing issue. Good luck! DrDetroit

Yea, it's not necessarily lower end specs causing issue at all, for the most part. I have half the machine you do, literally, and I run just fine (no enb, OK FPS not great, but very playable) and I run crap load of ped mods, weapon and car mods (civi and police), but keep poly counts low on police-police4 and only ELS on noose and fbi. Run on med setting with distance/detail settings at 15 and car density at 20. I got rid of Braveheart as that seemed to cause issues, and trimmed my game mods down. I still crash from time to time, but I can easily get a good 1-1.5 hours out of it 8 out of 10 times. When it does crash I reload the game and I play fine for over an hour. Anyhow, seems Nvidia GPU users seem to be plagued by crashes...wonder if that has something to do with it. Seems most specs posts are Nvidia cards. DrDetroit
