Liberty City is a hell lot more interesting that the map in SA if you ask me, the city feels much more alive than all the dull cities in SA.

Technically? It's a Holden Commodore(?) with the Aussie name crossed out and Chevy written on it, not that it's a bad thing, I've heard they can be right beasts. They're also sold in the UK as the Vauxhall VXR.

Look at the indicator mod in the downloads section, that allows you to manually turn all lights on and off.

Ford Focus or a Mondeo, I'm easily pleased

I have quite a few issues, the revamped MP group had modded cars in the first few games, but they made players crash a lot (non-els cars), it worked just fine when we used the default police vehicles. I also have to be the first that joins the server, otherwise I cannot connect, usually with the error "unable to join a game you were kicked from".

Good to see you on here, I've been using your handling lines for a while, with nothing but good results.

It's made by Rockstar, same thing happens on the East Borough Bridge, and in the Booth Tunnel.

I suffer from all symptoms described (I am a champion in the last bullet point) when I occasionally venture into Call Of Duty 4.

A normal format only deletes the references, the actual data will still be on the drive, UNLESS any form of software writes on the drive, then the data will be nigh on impossible to restore. Let this be a lesson in backing up their important data, any important data of any form should be kept in two copies, preferably not at the same location in case of burglars and/or fires.

With the AI driving, that's going to be breaking all sorts of police vehicle accident records.

Be advised that 0.95 are very, very unstable in multi-player, even with default cars and no ELS, the game crashes every other minute.

AI cop cars uses a random pattern, ELS selects one of the available patterns, ideally it would register what patter you've selected, and applies on that to AI cars.

Caine produced some very high quality vehicles, and a wide range, not just police vehicles, it is a shame that he decided to leave the modding scene. He was the author of ELS, so that project died when he left, I am not aware of anyone taking over the project, although someone could experiment and make their own ELS system. The way ELS works, by adding the lights as extra objects on the vehicle, is far from ideal, that's why the pushbars flashes if you've ever tried to enable ELS on the default cop cars. Someone attempted to do it differently a while ago with the "illumination" mod, that proved to be a bit of a faff to get set up, and ELS were already widely adapted.
