  1. Hardly, There's a stop child porn act going on the floor soon, they'll paste SOPA or PIPA at the bottom of that bill, nobody's going to vote against a anti-child porn bill.
  2. It's currently replacing a weapon (nailgun), so peds act as if you're firing a weapon, by running for the hills, the old system worked in a very different way. Whether or not it can be changed can be answered by the developers, I can only answer on why the peds behave like like they do
  3. I feel sorry for you Justin. People who knows about computers would never in their life buy a shop built PC, a rule of thumb is that you can get a substantially (+10%-15%) better machine if you build it yourself, or get a mate to do so, a pizza bribe + a pint or two works wonders, compared to a shop build one, plus you won't have all that bloatware that we all know from laptops.
  4. I'd say at least an i5, preferably i7 as far as CPU goes, I am very out-of-the-loop as far as gfx cards are concerned, although at least a card with 1gb dedicated RAM.
  5. OS - Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit. Motherboard - Asus P5QC (775 socket) CPU- Intel Core 2 Quad Q8400 2660MHz 4MB L3 Cache RAM - Corsair 2x 2GB DDR3 blocks GPU - Nvidia (Club 3D) GeForce 9800GTX+ 512MB HDD - 1x 250 Seagate (OS + installed software) 2x 1TB Seagate (one defect, out of warranty, 700GB worth of tv series lost) 1x 80GB Seagate
  6. I am not for one second agreeing with the RIAA, MPAA or DOJ, the first two should be shut down, they run what seems to be a blackmailing racket, which has gained traction globally, the "warning letter" campaigns, as well as demanding unreasonable sums compared to the alleged infringement. But Anon will achieve nothing from their DDOS campaigns other than give the three mentioned organizations PR, they'll be able to use the attack against them, calling them cyber-terrorists, out to cause dismay while clubbing baby seals to death with babies.
  7. SHIFT + TAB shows all keys.
  8. It happened a lot in the tester versions, I could do a long montage of helis crashing. But I haven't experienced any in RC2, and I usually call in ASU in chases.
  9. Anon will accomplish nothing but generate PR for the DOJ, they don't even realise that they're hurting the cause, but what can you expect from some 4chan retards.
  10. I frisk at lot, whenever I have to place a suspect in a vehicle under arrest, whenever I encounter anyone "suspicious", etc.
  11. Yeah, it told me that I had 2,2 gigs of GPU RAM, when I in fact only have 512mb.
  12. Noting to do with wikileaks, that Assange guy were extradited to Sweden on rape charges. The article is here.
  13. Some Brit were recently sentenced to extradition for running a site that linked to copyright infringing content, I cannot find the article atm. It does pose a big threat to the internet as we know it, but there's been talks by a German "hacker" (the original meaning, not internet terrorists) to launch their own free internet. For someone looking outside in on the US politics, it's hard to tell if SOPA/PIPA's just a symptom, or it is the problem itself, I'm finding it harder and harder to accept the US as a free democratic nation.
  14. Danish broacast regulation does not allow for them to "break" shows with advert breaks, most networks bypass this by sending from the UK, or Germany.
  15. Lamar Smith said that they're putting it on the floor again in February, unfortunately I saw it on one of the sites that are currently blacked out, they only "shelved" it, they didn't drop it. Even if they do drop SOPA, there's PIPA, which will be supported by most of the anti-SOPA co-operations. SOPA were never intended to actually pass, like when salespersons gives you a higher price than both you, and he knows is too high, then he lowers his offer to something that sounds reasonable, but are still higher, in the hopes that you'll take the bait and accept it, it's PIPA that they're aiming to actually pass.
  16. It's slightly upsetting that they're blocking EVERYONE, it wouldn't be that hard to limit it to US based IP's only, but they've decided to block it for the whole world. Not to rain on their parade at all, I fully support the fight against SOPA, the US cannot be considered a "democracy" if either SOPA, or PIPA goes though, they've kept the illusion up very well so far, but that will be a blatant censorship coming directly from those that controls the US politicians, the corporations.
  17. Here's a rough breakdown on how it is with the Danish shows: Intro, theme song, plus intro video. (1 minute) "On tonight episode". a few clips from tonight's episode. (1 minute) Introduction to the first incident, (½-1 minute) Actual footage from incident 1 (2 minutes) Introduction to incident 2 (½-1 minute) Actual footage from incident 1 (2 minutes) "after the break" what happens after the advert break (½ minute) Cut to adverts 7 minutes) "Earlier" showing what happened before the ad break. (1 minute) Introduction to the third incident, (½-1 minute) Actual footage from incident 3 (2 minutes) Introduction to incident four (½-1 minute) Actual footage from incident four (2 minutes) "after the break" what happens after the advert break (½ minute) Cut to adverts (7 minutes) "earlier" (a lot has unfolded, now up to 45 seconds - 1 minute) Cut to incident 1, wrap it up (3 minutes) Cut to incident 2"earlier officer x and y attended job x" wrap it up (3 minutes)... I hope you can see a pattern. Each incident lasts about 5-6 minutes, out of them following the pair throughout the week (usually 3-5 days, 8 hour shifts) They usually get crews out in three or four cars on the shifts they're assigned to, and from that you have about 30 minutes of footage, that's less than a minute an hour.. Bottom line, it's not what being a cop is actually like for five minutes out of their whole week. COPS has it even easier, they only have to fill 19 minutes with content.
  18. Oh I know. One of my fondest memories from COPS has to be one of the older episode, a white female flags down our officer, he interviews her, she borrowed a friend some money to buy stuff, but didn't pay her back, she was upset because "she had planned on spending the money on crack". When our good officer went over and spoke to the second POI, she explained that "I ain't no crack addict, I'm a prostitute". Oh, and Saturdays episode, with the dramatic case weren't bad either.
  19. None of those real shows stage stuff, that's sort of the point, although I have my doubts about COPS at times, people can't be THAT stupid.
  20. A Danish network bought the rights to the first series, but those fake cop shows never takes off over here, Third Watch never broke though over here, despite still being broadcast by a smaller network.
  21. The screenshot's from 0.95 though, that's what happens when you let the interns write the articles.
  22. Huh, that's odd. As far as I know, there should be text boxes whenever you call in backup.
  23. You guys are being mean to PEOPLE WHO HAS CANCER!!!!! I'd regard that as them wearing a wig, and not a helmet, so I'd issue them a citation for not wearing a helmet.
