A LCPDFR Q - No help needed! :P
Yes, I have also experienced a mugging while I were on patrol, I ended up ending it in the humane way, and shot him in the back with a shotgun.

A LCPDFR Q - No help needed! :P
Well hello there:) I use "nightly" builds, as well as a modified taser, working with the new taser deployment system in RC2. There's been a varying amount of random "world events" as they're called, most of which can be seen in various videos. One of the remaining issues on RC2, is an update of the Crime Stats, and how your install is authenticated with the LCPDFR servers, but there is currently no release date set. Keep in mind that all the guys that are working on it has work and/or schoolwork to take care of as well, LCPDFR is made in their spare time, and are not paid anything for their work, they pay for the sever costs, and other expenses out of their own pockets. Which says a damn lot about their dedication to the mod, and all of you in the community.

LCPD Female Prostitution Officers
AHAAA Sam, I have used those, just not in a video, which I'll admit, is a mistake.

Looks beliveable -
This video surfaced right around when the announcement trailer came out, this is fake, as with any "leaks" so far, the only thing we've seen from the upcoming GTA game is the stuff in the announcement trailer. Try and keep this to the appropriate forum sections, there's a GTA:V section, for any discussion relating to the next GTA.

50% off Emergency 2012 on Steam
Sounds like the Gold edition, mine had the option of installing it in either English, or French.

50% off Emergency 2012 on Steam
It's not worth even considering. Emergency 4 is much better in every way, the developers decided to not support modding, as they did with EM3 and EM4, what you see is what you get. Emergency 4 is appalling in it's original form, it'll last your three or four hours. Add mods and you've got a solid game, which I've played over the last four years.

LCPDFR Videos
The AI breaks the limit at certain places on the map, that's just the Dashcam mod doing it's thing, when vehicles go above 37 mph, the reading turns red so you know it's time to pounce.

Error in script "Trafficflow.liveries"!
It also happens at the station, it doesn't matter where they are, it won't touch the cars as long as ALM deems them to be within the limit Sam set. The way ALM works is that it detects models, and then changes the skin to the values in the ini file as long as they are not too close to you, it will change even if it's "correct" to begin with. I'm afraid Sam has to take over if it gets any more technical, I need dumbed down explanations about how it all works.

Error in script "Trafficflow.liveries"!
It happens because the spawned vehicle is too close to the player, so ALM ignores it as it would look weird with livery changes right in front of you.

Error in script "Trafficflow.liveries"!
It seems to be the police2, ADY (Alderney) line that had the error, you added a semicolon after the first value, without defining a second value. Just in case you, or anyone else has this error again.

Air support Bug
It only crashes when it's the player (I.E. YOU) that kill or arrest the suspect, everything is just fine when it is the AI officers that arrests or kills. There's no issue with the NOoSE helicopter.

did i over do it?
I still upload LCPDFR preview videos every week. I decide what goes in the videos, but Sam did give me the files needed for the new taser model to show, I get informed of stuff that's being worked on, and try and incorporate it into the videos as well as I can.

LCPDFR Videos
I CAN DO THIS. One of the oldies, back when I were using cars covered with lights: Utilizing the dash cam mod in conjunction with LCPDFR. 0.95ing it up, preview videos, because I can: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_ebwVN31PXg http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1EiYVJqbgxo I've got a lot of exclusive preview videos (34 in fact) on my channel all in the 30 to 45 minute range, and I upload more every week.

Just to clear up the confusion around me and access to the early versions of 0.95. I were originally added as a tester (which surprised me, one day there was a banner on LCPDFR.com that said "if you see this, you've been added as a tester for 0.95") to demonstrate the additions and changes being made in 0.95, it were the managements intention that I would be the only one publicly demonstrating 0.95 to all of you lovely people. Keep in mind that there were no public releases planned of the in development versions of 0.95, one of the testers released a version, along with a guide to by-passing the security measures taken by the developers that insured that only approved testers had access. I were at this point only a tester with access to "nightly" builds, which is ad hoc versions of 0.95, which adds functions, or fixes bugs. If you look though my 0.95 preview videos, you will see change from video to video, as stuff were added, and removed during the development. I have since been asked by the manager (the almighty Sam) to join the public relations team, which I accepted.

Stellar response driving.
Around 3:50, the passenger said something like "that ain't Charing Cross, innit. Where are you goin'?" It did seem like an odd route, even though I mostly know London from the video games "The Getaway", and three visits to the city, the only metropolitan city I've liked so far.

Stellar response driving.
Some places (Read: USA) uses systems like the "opticom", which detects (using transmitters on EMS & Fire vehicles) within a range of half a mile, and changes the light to green, allowing a much smoother flow of traffic. If two vehicles approach at the same time, only the vehicle first detected will be given a green light. It sounds like the system, or something similar they're using.

did i over do it?
Oh yes, the sweet feeling of pursuing someone at five frames per second, it's the joys of gaming on a system that was somewhat average in 2008. Pursuits were especially bad in the early alpha versions of 0.95, there were no upper limit to the amount of units that would join a chase by itself, combining 20 units and the ASU you called, and the game would actually crash, even if you were using the default vehicles, even the police cars.

did i over do it?
There is such a thing as overdoing it. I once tried to replace every car with real life cars, which is of course all high poly models, and no surface textures would load, and I mean no, as in zero, every car had textures, but they were driving on invisible roads, surrounded by invisible road furnitures and buildings, until the game crashes. That's overdoing it, if your computer can handle it, IE there's no noticeable problems, then you haven't "overdone it.

sirens
Sirens are Wail, Yelp and pier (piercer) or Hi-Lo (Two-tones - NEEENAAAA), that's the different tones that are used by most emergency services. Since GTA IV isn't focused on emergency services from the developers, it works like that, you can in theory mess around with it as much as possible using IVAUD. The reason for it being like that is, well it needed a limit, you are not meant to drive about in police cars all day, Rockstar did not intend it to be like that, in theory someone could script it so you could use more than just three tones and a air horn, but having three tones is adequate.

Stellar response driving.
It's ridiculous, I've often seen ambulances resorting to using bike lanes (elevated like the pavement here) to bypass heavy traffic, and units going completely the wrong way down roads. We still have some common sense left, and we do things accordingly, if there's one or two emergency vehicles coming towards you with flashing lights and screaming sirens, you don't keep on going, you bloody stop or pull over, it's like that in a number of ways, it's up to the people to get out of their way when they take it to the pavement, or footpaths, they do have legs after all, and those who don't, well they have a wheel chair. I myself would be extremely frustrated if I were a paramedic, and had to sit in traffic en route to someone who's stroking, or in other ways dying because I couldn't take it down the opposite lanes in my ambulance. Just a few real life examples: Moped pursuit in central Copenhagen, many "interesting" manoeuvres by the officer Unmarked car in pursuit of a moped though pathways in a residential area (skip to 9:21) http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=_7EL4e9TV0c#t=561s Two fire units resorting to the opposite lane en route to a AFA: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z9I-dFwLsmg A pedestrian only plaza, not when someone's getting robbed:

12/31/2011 MULTIPLAYER SERVER?
I've only played multiplayer with a few of the staff guys on here, and we (read me) hosted it just for that single game, so your best bet for some multiplayer action would be to find some people that are able to play at the same time as you, maybe try the LCPDFR multiplayer group.
