  2. We have a support section for this kind of thing, you'll have to follow a troubleshooter when you attempt to post a new thread.
  3. Nope, I haven't really heard of it before now.
  4. I'm not the only one that hates those Daewoos, whoops, I mean Chevys. Chevrolet ruined their EU market reputation when they decided to re-badge Daewoo, now they're known for making crap pieces of shit.
  5. If I had to order them: Taurus > Charger > Caprice > Tahoe > death by not eating while trapped in a room of spiders > Carbon
  6. The carbon motors looks horrible, flat out disgusting, the crims will laugh their arses off if you turn up in that. The Ford PI will be treated unfairly, I'm sure it's a good car, but every copper will be comparing it to the Crown Vic, and they're very different, I quite like the way it looks, and I can't wait for photos and videos of it on the roads. The Dodge Charger is, well brilliant, it looks fantastic, goes like the clappers, and costs about twice what a CVPI does. The LAPD already received a fleet of Caprices. It's an Austrailan car, so it's not the most sophisticated piece of machinery, but it looks reasonably well, and hopefully they'll be high quality. The Tahoe is too big imo, as much as I love SUVs (almost as much as Americans), but it's not good for a police vehicle, they're out if they get into a high-speed pursuit. In short, I like all but one, the Carbon is shit.

  8. Next time create your own topic, thread hi-jacking is not allowed.
  9. Try to not double-post, we don't really allow that, instead edit the existing post.
  10. You can either go to the police station, or you can spawn one using the trainer, it's easier to do it at the police station, and both takes roughly the same time.
  11. That would require me to be a complete wanker as a cop.
  12. It's stupid to disable embedding on the video, and then attempt to embed said video on another site.
  13. Some quotes may be edited due to length. Spike strips and road blocks has been discussed before, and it's just not possible, people using ELS would have even bigger issues than normal players as well. A prison break fits better in PPM, LCPDFR is more directed towards a proper beat cop. There's already a pursuit world event. You might want to take a look at the MDC, made by Bravehart, you can find it in the "media" section The idea about syncing it with the statistics server is good, although the structure does not allow it as far as I know. The driving away in anger happens, but it's not a pursuit as they've already been served with the citation. There's no point in the stolen cars, we wouldn't have a way of distinguishing vehicles from each other, it's not unlikely that you'd end up seeing several cars of the same desctiption when looking for it, and GTA IV does not use a proper registration plate system. Gang activity already exists, they're the shots fired and shoot-out in progress calls. Bait car scenarios would be hard to script though.
  14. I like the ones that aren't used, ever.
  15. No, play PPM for that. LCPDFR is meant to be a more realistic mod.
  16. mace, don't double-post, instead edit the existing post.
  17. This is not related to LCPDFR, I'm moving to content modifications.
  18. That sounds boring as hell.
  19. His uploads on LCPDFR.com
  20. Are you using a pirate version of GTA?
  21. No, you can only toggle them sequentially.
  22. Sgt. Kanyo has a thread on here with real handling lines, they are the best out there.
  23. Reinstall GTA, when installing LCPDFR, chose DSOUND as ASI Loader.
  24. Take a break, I haven't played in a few weeks, but started again yesterday, it just gets boring after a while. I generally try and mix my LCPDFR sessions up, sometimes I stick to chasing the radio, other times I pop it onto busy and stop cars and deal with world events, from time to time I do "gang crackdowns", I stick to areas with gang peds (firefly projects, Hove Beach, Bohan etc), stop and frisk peds I deem interesting, same goes for cars, there's always bound to be a shooting call or drug deal call as well. I also try to mix up my beat, switch between the different boroughs, you'd be surprised how different it is to work the Star Junction area compared to Hove Beach or Bohan. It's also worth checking out the various GTA modding sites for non-police mods, getting new guns, a baton, new handling lines etc. All that changes the experience.
