  1. You want to know why, look at a little thing called the second amendment of our constitution. Look at what our founding fathers said on how liberty involved armed citizens, and how some even recommended a revolution every few generations to keep America free. They knew all governments go corrupt and if not stopped, tyrannical. Ask yourself this: What would've happened if German citizens would have had guns in the 1930's? What would've happened if Russians had guns in the 1920's? What would've happened if the Chinese had guns in the 1950's? Whenever a tyrannical government pops up, one of the first things they do is restrict gun ownership. Ask yourself why a dictator would have something against armed citizens. In the end, at the very least those guns would be a deterrent from plans that are too crazy being committed by our leaders.
  2. Yeah, it was in honor of the last 14 cvpis being sold to the KHP. The usual cvpis have a whelen liberty and a white or grey paintjob like the older charger.
  3. Most of the cops in my area are friendly, but as I've said in other threads, I do have an issue with the equipment they are getting. It's mainly the Feds that are stuck up around here. I live along the border of 3 cities, so this will be kinda long, sorry I fail at posting images: Olathe Police: http://www.flickr.co...ile/6101617932/ http://www.flickr.co...N06/7427304698/ http://www.flickr.co...N06/4831980553/ Lenexa Police: http://www.flickr.co...N06/6654570801/ http://www.flickr.co...100/7251161414/ http://www.flickr.co.../in/photostream Overland Park Police: http://www.flickr.co...ile/3011174129/ http://www.flickr.co...esi/6065880983/ Johnson County Sheriff: http://www.flickr.co.../in/photostream http://www.flickr.co.../in/photostream http://www.flickr.co.../in/photostream http://www.flickr.co.../in/photostream Kansas Highway Patrol: One of the last 14 CVPIs sold to a US fleet: http://www.flickr.co...ile/7439819428/ Normal cars: http://www.flickr.co...N06/6278168945/ http://www.flickr.co...N06/6899168019/
  4. No license to buy as it should be. However, there is a 3 day background check on handguns, while long guns can be purchased on the same day. From the black market, guns are either stolen or purchased then illegally sold to criminals with felonies.
  5. My point was that in areas where more people legally own guns, less crime happens compared to cities with gang problems and strict gun laws.
  6. And a majority of those crimes come from major cities. The funny thing about that is some of the most violent cities have strict gun laws, like NYC, Chicago, Washington DC and Los Angeles. Meanwhile, in suburbs in the midwest when there are several gun owners on every block, crime rate is extremely low. In the end, it comes down to the fact that the second amendment was put there by our founding fathers because they recognized that all governments become out of control and people need a way to take it back when their vote doesn't count anymore. The price of liberty can be measured by the amount of blood spilled, in peace and war time.
  7. Working on the expedition again? Can't wait for it!
  8. CVPI: http://www.lcpdfr.com/files/file/1118-2010-ford-crown-victoria-police-interceptor-florida-highway-patrol-evi-yakadafi/
  9. A utility police interceptor? Of course we would love to see one! On the cvpi, I would rather have the halogen. It fits the non-els lights better
  10. Hey EVI, I hope this isn't too much for you, but would you be willing to give unlocked models to modders like Kevin, Cj and Aznairsoft? I'm sure we would all like to see more versions of your lesser used cars, like the magnum, suburban and (for me especially) the expedition.
  11. ^I agree I've always wanted to see an ELS enabled cvpi with an mx7000 and a go rhino pushbar, but there hasn't been one made
  12. Will the wheels be the same as your more recent CVPIs, being interchangeable to hubcaps or no hubcaps? I will definitely still use those though
  13. Could you not include the K-9 model with the car so we can use a K-9 mod and place it in the back without the modded ped model and the fake dog model colliding?
  14. The first ELS enabled cvpi had a skin based on this car on it, but it is long gone. If you're lucky, someone on here may be able to find it. Here is an old video, but this guy left GTA 4 a long time ago so don't expect a response: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u10DVpMOYzg

  16. EVI's CVPIs will have a different license plate placement, but besides that it will work just fine
  17. Get your own topic and make complete sentences before you request stuff.

  19. If you set a waypoint on a callout once you accept it, you can call for backup and they will respond to the scene. Unfortunately, it is not possible for AI callouts yet.
  20. As it was already pointed out, under the Obama administration the NDAA which gives the president the power to indefinately detain anyone anywhere (including Americans on US soil) was signed, and Romney has said he supports it. Other things that have happened under the Obama administration that I strongly disagree with: -NDAA -Patriot Act Renewal -HR 347 (Makes it a felony to have free speech at political events) -Secretary of Defense that lectured the Senate about how the UN and NATO control our military, not Congress (Never has a leader of a world power said that the military was under foreign control) -Expansion of TSA powers (Ordering people to freeze, testing breast milk for explosives, testing drinks that were purchased inside the gates) -Approval to put 30,000 drones over US skies -Fast and Furious, which was designed to place blame on the second amendment and to work to restrict it However, I know that Romney would've done the same, as they have both taken well over a billion in campaign contributions from banks like Goldman Sachs. If I could vote and believed that the elections weren't rigged, I would vote Gary Johnson, but with the amount of fraud that went on in the Republican Primary alone and the fact that this years elections are being counted by Dybold voting machines that are going to be processed by an Israeli corporation in Spain, I would write in Ron Paul since the vote doesn't matter anyways.
  21. Do you realize how incredibly complex it is to make a sandbox world like Grand Theft Auto IV? Not only would they need more than the vastly understaffed scripters they have now, they would need various modelers, animators and a host of other jobs I have no clue about. And that is not even considering the extremely small niche policing games have. Let's say that they do make a stand-alone game, at most maybe a 1/2 million would buy it. It would be far smarter and cost effective to keep it as an add-on mod to GTA.

  24. Plumber's skyway. High speed pursuits with multiple backup units on this is the greatest thing that can happen in LCPDFR.
  25. I think you misunderstood my point. I don't hate cops. I recognize that they are a necessary evil. What I hate is how they are being used and how many are getting away with their crimes simply because of a badge and a gun, and if anything is done about it immediately by the victims, then they get arrested or killed. A classic example of victims getting harmed is Ruby Ridge, where Feds harassed a guy and got angry that he wouldn't join a militia to spy on them. They eventually had uc's pester him for some sawn off shotguns, and after repeatedly saying no, the man finally conceded. Feds were on his property despite not having a warrant, and shot his dog, provoking return fire from the man's boy and a friend--rightfully so (FBI Deputy Assistant Director backed up that decision before people get on me for that), because they saw guys in camo trespassing on their property shoot their dog. After the standoff, the man's wife, baby, 15 year old son and a US Marshall were killed. The man's charge? Bail violations, missing court date and it all started because he refused to be an informant and sawed shotguns 1/4" too short. My main point was that it is reasonable for law abiding citizens to hate cops. As for me, as I already said, I don't like the job, but I don't despise it either. What I do hate is corruption and slaps on the wrist for major crimes. What I am saying is that you would not have the same appreciation of American rights, much like most Americans would not have the same appreciation of yours. What I am asking for is cool level-headed decisions in situations, there is no excuse for tazing an 86 year old bed-bound woman for a "threatening posture." As I have said, I don't hate the entire police, I hate growing police corruption. Also, some of the issues I originally pointed out were the result of an entire police force. The NYPD's quotas aren't set up by the beat cops, but by the higher ups. I was a bit excessive with the Nazi references (which I hope you know was not a personal attack), but that is because it's such a good example of when people didn't speak up because they weren't directly involved. Also, in my original post, I was calling my Nazi argument overused, not the argument that "cops are just doing their jobs," which gets annoying also. And no, I'm not going to go out and kill someone for no reason. I recognize that there are good cops out there, as I have said I know some. I just want all the corruption to end.
