What do you REALLY think about Police?
1. I don't expect them to respect me, what I expect them to respect is the constitution and my and others rights, which they as well as our military take an oath to defend against all enemies, foreign AND domestic. 2. I was pointing out that the argument of "they're just people doing their jobs" is a dangerous argument to make and one that Nazi's tried to use. Considering bills like the NDAA, Patriot Act and HR 347, America is being set up much like Germany in the 1930's. 3. See #2. Also, this isn't about 9/11, this is about what people think of police. As the person above me pointed out, this entire thread is mostly one sided. With the amount of mostly one-sidedness going on, and especially quotes like "people that hate cops are just criminals," a different and rational dose needed to be injected. If you would've bothered reading my post in all entirety, you would've seen that I am tired of seeing good cops being treated like shit because of the actions of the bad ones. I routinely shoot with former and current cops, and we are friendly towards each other. Really? Using the excuse of cops getting shot as a reason to not question police actions? People don't hate cops because of the uniform, they hate cops because of how they represent the uniform. This "us vs. them" mentality is one that should be taught in the military, not in domestic peace keeping activities. 50 years ago, it was Officer Friendly as part of a small police force with only a 6 shooter on his side, and maybe a shotgun in the car. Today, cops walk around in full body armor carrying assault rifles with 60-90 rounds on them, despite dropping crime rates in recent years. When people want to play dress up and act like they are part of an occupying force, they should expect people to not appreciate them. This same argument can be placed back on you. As a German, you probably have little knowledge or appreciation for America's constitution, certainly not as much as Americans. What makes you feel you are qualified to tell me whether I am qualified to determine whether the "supreme law of the land" is being broken? Should I not care that a law-abiding citizen gets shot in his own home because police went to the wrong house? Should I not care that people are getting frisked (if we did it, it would be classified as sexual assault) for no reason besides being in the wrong neighborhood? Also, the idea that I shouldn't speak up because it doesn't effect me is one that you should've been taught in History. There was a similar time when people didn't speak up in your home country about violations of civil rights in the late 1930's and early 1940's, and we all know how that turned out.

What do you REALLY think about Police?
While most people on here would get on me for this, it is perfectly acceptable for citizens to hate cops for reasons besides a few citizens being criminals. When cops raid homes without warrants for freedom of speech, it is unacceptable. Don't claim it was imminent danger, if it was they would've checked to make sure they had the right house. And pay special attention to the part where they refused to show the warrant. When homes get raided for a marriage argument without a warrant, simply because of their political beliefs, it is unacceptable and criminal behavior. Don't claim that in the video they talk about a grow area, in the article it says that those were proven to be tomatoes. When cops violate the 4th amendment and illegally stop and frisk over 700,000 people a year in the name of filling quotas, then proceed to call a minority a "f***ing mutt," it is unacceptable behavior that should not be tolerated. When Posse Comitatus, a law designed to keep military from performing police actions in America outside of explicit emergencies, is circumvented by giving cops military gear, including drones, it is unacceptable. When cops combined with national guard illegally remove peoples' second amendment right, for no excuse besides public safety, it is unacceptable. I'm tired of seeing the bullshit argument of "they're just doing their job." This argument is overused, but Nazi's were just doing their jobs too, and that didn't save many of them from the death penalty. I'm tired of seeing people defend bad cops by lopping people critical of them as "just criminals angry they got caught," when there are many citizens who have not been charged with a crime that are concerned over the growing corruption. I'm tired of being lectured that being an American is not questioning your governments actions and sitting down and shutting up like they yell you. I'm tired of seeing the few good cops left getting a bad name because of the jackbooted thugs wanting to look tough to the rest of the force by beating disabled people or shooting unarmed men, then getting away with it because the department doesn't want to look bad. So to answer the OP's question, no, I don't respect cops. I don't respect anyone until I know them, especially just because of a job title.

dodge charger
That guy makes models himself, and is probably previewing it. No, it is not released yet, and based on how many modders operate, it may never be.

LAPD Issue Sidearm?
That's nothing compared to some departments. One in my area allows you to carry anything as long as you qualify with it and it meets certain standards. LVMPD has extremely loose regulations on duty weapons also

The Hi-Lo is pretty low volume, other than that the yelp and the wail are perfect sounding.

Fed Sig Vector Lightbar
Both of them should be unlocked. I'm not a modeler, so I am not sure about this, but you will probably need to delete everything on the car but the lightbar to get the lightbar by itself.

LEDesign's Federal Signal Unitrol 480k Siren
I love it, my only suggestion was like what was said on the smart siren, it needs to be louder. Unfortunately, my pc is too crappy to record, so we will have to rely on someone else.

Request: Alaska State Trooper CVPI Pack
That's kinda strange, it's from NatGeo itself so it's not like it's stolen.

Request: Alaska State Trooper CVPI Pack
Before I start off, I know about BxBugs version (that has too many lights) and I know about Yakadafi's version (perfect besides the lightbar disappearing at a distance). It would be great to see some accurate AST CVPIs with the following light setups: To be the most realistic, the headlights on the pushbar would have to come on with the rest of the headlights like on Yakadafi's car. All cars have the same lower level of deck lights as his car and the same pushbar, but the reverse lights should flash like wig-wags on the unmarked and the older one. Thanks to anyone willing to do this! Unmarked Supervisor CVPI: http://policecarwebs...cars/ast235.jpg Same upper level lighting as this charger, but lower lights are the same as Yakadafi's car Older cvpi with MX7000: Same as Yakadafi's car, but with an ELS-H MX7000 and no lights on the pushbar. http://policecarwebs...cars/ast101.jpg http://policecarwebs...cars/ast105.jpg Modern CVPI with X2100: Yakadafi nailed it almost exactly, the only issue I have with it is the disappearing lightbar. http://policecarwebs...cars/ast193.jpg Most of the flash patterns can be found in this video starting at 3:35: Front flash pattern of the unmarked at 12:30, newer cvpis have the same light setup on the side of the pushbar as well: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xxvQKfmuBFs&list=ELv43rxYw8fNk&index=6&feature=plpp_video

variety of calls?
Unfortunately, there isn't much variety for calls in LCPDFR. The ones that exist are drug deals, muggings, domestic disturbances, shots fired, stolen vehicles and the rare shoot-out. For more variety and more realistic calls, you could try using It's designed to run as an add-on to lcpdfr, so there will be no conflicts.

Sgt.Kanyo's handling mods
Can you make a handling line for the avalanche just released at GPM? Also, an updated Taurus line would be nice, the police version is a lot better handling than the civilian one.

Gang Enforcement Strategies
Spawn bodyguards with SNT, be sure they all have at least glocks and maybe give one a shotgun or a rifle. That should help you a lot.

Auto Theft Task Force In Pursuit
Could you put a visor light on the passenger side? A flip down light would be pretty great for a car meant to be undercover

Whelen FastTrax
I think it would be cool to have a 98 or an early 2000's model cvpi with one on it, definitely unique and under appreciated.
