Double Doppler 762 Posted October 27, 2012 (edited) Area Car (the equivalent to a US "Patrol Car" or "Cruiser): Incident Response Vehicle (Primary role is to get officers on scene and through traffic as quick as possible - usually a hatchback because of the small size and easier driving): Traffic car (carries cones and traffic accident equipment, also ANPR equipped): Armed Response Vehicle (carries high tech weaponry and SFOs on call for armed situations): Edited October 27, 2012 by Double Doppler 1 CrazyPanda1234 reacted to this

strike 1947 Posted October 27, 2012 (edited) This is my city, Bilbao, Municipal Police These are just some units: Then there's also the Ertzaintza, something like "State Police", for saying somehow. This is a riot control unit, very commonly here. This part of the country where I live, the Basque Country, has have many, demonstrations, riots and violent incidents during the years, including the terrorist band called ETA, which since a year ago has stopped the armed actions, but haven't dissolved yet, so lately here is more calm. Before the terrorits band declared ceasefire, most of the Ertzaintza units were armored against bombs. Now, since they don't need it anymore they've bought many new units. These are very commonly seen around here, when there's a demonstration, a strike or a football match you can easily see 5 or 6 of these in a row. These are colloquially called "Beltzak", officaly called Brigada Móvil de la Ertzaintza, and are the riot police, and I think they also make counterterrorism taks. Gotta love their uniforms! Never seen that tank They also have humvee and some kind of tracked vehicle, so rare The Chopper and the boat. I was once some year ago inside that boat About the helicopter they do rescues also in the mountains. This is a very common unit of the Ertzaintza, VW Passat. Now they have newer passat, haven't seen them yet. I see these car all the time, Seat Altea. Btw, I think the picture is taken near my high school xD Last, a rare unit of my city fire dept. Didn't even know they had it American LaFrance And well, these are just some, but we have around here many more cool units  Edited October 27, 2012 by strike 2 br100x and CrazyPanda1234 reacted to this Quote Hide strike's signature Hide all signatures released mods

c13 1777 Posted October 27, 2012 Most of the cops in my area are friendly, but as I've said in other threads, I do have an issue with the equipment they are getting. It's mainly the Feds that are stuck up around here. c13 1777 Posted October 27, 2012 Is that KHP CVPI a special traditional livery? Yeah, it was in honor of the last 14 cvpis being sold to the KHP. The usual cvpis have a whelen liberty and a white or grey paintjob like the older charger. Cj24 1349 Posted October 27, 2012 The police in Aschaffenburg belongs to the Polizeipräsidium Würzburg. No idea what they're like, never dealt with them. The most cars I see here are 3 series equipped like this: Sometimes also VW T5 or BMW 5 series: Yes, those cars really don't have much lights, but the LEDs are actually damn bright. Unfortunately the siren is pretty quiet on the newer cars. 1 CrazyPanda1234 reacted to this Quote Hide Cj24's signature Hide all signatures modding-forum.com

Morshu 2 Posted October 27, 2012 The area where I live falls within the competence of the Polizeidirektion Hannover ("Hanover Police Headquarters") with stations and departments both in the city of Hanover itself and the Region. The closest station to me which is open 24/7 is the police department (Polizeikommissariat) in Lehrte. Some of the cars they use the most: http://bitly.com/XAqAP2 http://bit.ly/SKQVWD http://bit.ly/U51qmP I didn't have that much police encounters so far, but the cops around here are doing a good job. They are pretty understaffed though.
