Nice idea, but the only bad thing i can think of is if its a random guy with a gun and not someone you get a call on, it may cause him to leave too.

How about a way to choose how many cops will come in a backup car in the INI file, as well as a way to choose the different weapons that they have. It could work like the already in game NOOSE teams and FIB teams, where some will have pistols, others will have the pump action shotgun and the semi automatic one, and some will have mp5's or m4s. It would add more realism because most departments have shotguns on standard issue, with only one cop per car, and almost every department is starting to add AR-15's (civillian m16 in semi auto) to every car. How about calls of Barricaded suspects inside cars, where you have to assist an officer in trying to get a suspect with a gun to get out of his car. If you don't get him out without moving up to the car (maybe put the 1 hit one kill thing from the suicide missions so people can't run up and pull him out) SWAT automatically gets dispatched, sending 2 dozen of them to set up positions while 4 move up, and pull the guy out. Sometimes the guy could get out and shoot at you before SWAT shows up or he could fire out the window at you, and other times he could give up after 30 seconds or so. This could also be used at the end of pursuits. And when is the fix for the NOOSE ELS Backup bug coming out? Sam said a while ago that he had a solution. Thanks if you use this idea.

Actually, you just have to uninstall ELS, something causes it to screw up NOOSE Backup, Right now, I'm running the non ELS Vector Chargers, crown vics, tahoes and impalas on GPM, the non ELS Slicktop by Caine, and I replaced the ambulance with the 2.0x one, and I replaced the noose truck with the FBI Chevy Tahoe. I can spam the backup key just fine.

Why not just make it an option to call of a chase altogether, even if your right behind a suspect. In real life, PD's will do that if a chase endangers too many lives.

Mods I have are various cop cars from GPM, in game trainer, and ELS v5. If it helps, maybe its caused from NStockade being replaced, since mine is Lt. Caines ambulance.

Sorry to hijack this topic, but I found another backup issue. Whenever I call for noose backup(regular or during a chase) my game crashes halfway through my characters speech. Hopefully this will be fixed in the next hotfix.
