The ambient events thing will be great! Other night I was playing and had an instance where a random AI started shooting at me and I requested backup but they didn't shoot at the perp they just stood there.. I have the plugin addon thing where you can press either CTRL or SHIFT T and start a pursuit on them so the other AI cops target them but it just puts the suspect from shooting to flee mode. This new ambient event where AI cops can join in will be awesome, also looking forward to the new flashlight animation and Character life mode thing... as well as the other features and potential easter eggs not mentioned!

I'm hoping the new version is going to fix the issue with bystanders going mental whenever there's a fight, car crash or shootout. Those reversing civilian cars in particular can be really annoying. 

 

Also gangs starting those massive shootouts because something happened with a gang member you're dealing with.

Am I the only one who doesn't stop checking Sam's profile to see if he is doing something to upload? 😄

Yeah I got a guy for stealing a police car, and when he was surrendering my partner started shooting him for no reason.

my question to all of you, My game, unfortunately, cannot run with mods without crashing I really want to get lspdfr 0.4 the moment its out but I don't want to keep crashing do any of you think Sam will support previous dlc play?

What does it say when it crashes?

Well it depends on what kind of mod are you talking about but i think most of the mods like callouts will create some kind of error during the playthrough in newest version.

I don't have any mods installed at all right now I have a fresh install, the game still crashes though...

I have made two under gtav support one never got any replies the other hasn't helped either.

LSPDFR is just a script mod; it won't include new uniforms itself. However, there's already an LSPD uniform for multiplayer peds in the game (for one of the heist missions), and you can install EUP or other mods to get custom uniforms. What's new for LSPDFR is that it'll support that sort of thing -- you can have peds in EUP (or similar) uniforms as backup units, patrolling officers, etc., and because these are based on the multiplayer ped system you get a lot more variety in appearance (for instance, you don't just have a handful of head models and textures). Likewise, if you choose to add additional agencies (such as by using a mod like RDE), these additional agencies will be spawned doing ambient patrols and will be able to respond to backup calls -- you're not limited to the four zones (LS City, LS County, Blaine County, North Yankton) that you had in 0.3. Your added peds, uniforms, vehicles, and agencies will also be available at police stations when you go on duty.

 

(Of course, you'll have to configure LSPDFR to know about stuff you've added, but we assume that people developing these sorts of mod packs will also make configurations for them. It's also not that hard to write the configurations yourself.)

Seriously hyped for this update - it'll be adding a whole new dimension to LSPDFR, and no doubt add hours of fantastic new content and scenarios.

 

As much as myself, and no doubt others, are excited for this update, I think we should take a moment to thank everyone who had put in so much hard work over the years making this mod what it is - the designers, scripters, testers, website staff; thank you all for your fantastic work!

 

I can't wait to see what this update, and indeed future updates bring to the table!

I had an issue with crashing before loading it was my Anti Virus not usre if that will help you.

Stealing a police car is not punishable by death. If he had a gun and started shooting then yes, but not for stealing a police car.

Couple of days ago, i got shoplifting callout
When i came and started a conversation between shoplifter and security guard...Suddenly random cop runs in, and start to kick the s**t off suspect with pump shotgun.
After couple of shots we had "10-4 OVER"

Seems legit
