It seems this site is always getting DDoSed or something else.

Who and why?

It's not as if the guilty party is going to raise their hand.

Why does anyone really do anything. Generally it's either; Hate, Fun or Because they can. 

Nothing really has a reason,

nobody really has a destination

and nothing really has a sense...

Rockstar don't like mods and have a lot of computing power at their disposal.... just sayin' ;)

 

In all seriousness though, it might well not be this site getting attacked specifically. It could be the server it is hosted on if it also runs something that is a target.

Why tf would anyone DDoS LSPDFR too... It's such a non-toxic community.

This might not be it. There could be a bigger one on the way. Or not - who knows, hackers being hackers.

We haven't been hacked in any shape or form.

yes i was wondering this, sometimes the site will be extremely slow or wont load at all.

I feel like we should all get together around a campfire and reminisce on all the GTA modding scene drama that LSPDFR has been sucked into through the ages... Who's with me?

Actually, the R*’s servers seem to be under attack as well. The support website fails to load articles occasionally, I had R*SC sign in problems, and the PC GTAO server is down.

This had no relation to the topic i'm sorry but man I've been waiting years to do this on a forum.

Never had so many problems with a website, now I can't download anything, it says bad gateway 502.

I can't download anything either. Other functions of the site work fine however.
