As for everyone having issues with certain configs and xmls not being replaced, attached to this post is a .7z file that has them all in it, taken directly from my source files.

Plugin+trainer configs.7z

I'm putting in the xml files manually. Do you know where you put the EMSUNITS_SUP? Can I get help with this? Thanks!

That's just a replacement emsunits.xml that uses EUP peds instead of the regular RDE ones. It'll only work when you have EUP, SUP and the latest version of BetterEMS installed.

So it uses freemode models?

I have no idea what you mean with freemode models. The regular emsunits.xml (with the install path in the name) has RDE's edited base game peds, the _SUP version uses the EUP/SUP GTA Online ped models.

I think it might be the six star response or being playing it for over 50 minutes

I'm getting a lot of plugin crashing while playing LSPDFR that I wasn't getting before RDE. Nothing that crashes my game. I simply reload the plugin and boom its fixed.

Visit me on youtube. The most common reason for crashing is user error. Make sure you have the latest RAGE, ScripthookV, ScripthookVdotnet and turn off your antivirus. Make sure you have an up to date gameconfig.xml as well. Use Allbo's plugin troubleshooter to find any errors too.

Overall outstanding experience. Few minor bugs such as National Guard armed Humvee entry and the turrets on the Tank and APC. The armed Humvee wants to force you into the gun seat unless you press it a few times and even then it teleports you to the seat rather than using the door. As far as the turrets sometime they lock foward and won't aim to shoot. (AI tank looks straight but you start getting hit by it anyway)

If you're having compatibility issues while using RDE and LSPDFR, do the following:

Create a clean game folder. One without any plugins or modifications. That also means no Rage Plugin Hook. If you don't have a backup, you'll have to download and install the game again, or manually remove all your modifications. Just make sure you actually have removed everything.

Now make sure the game is up to date and launches without any issues. If you're using steam, launch it through steam.

Install the ASI loader and OpenIV.asi through the OpenIV ASI Manager. Then install ScripthookV, ScripthookVDotNet, and the RDE oiv file. When building the oiv file, I've found that selecting the custom files for LSPDFR-related modifications does not work, and because of that I'll tell you how to add them manually further down.

Please note that selecting files for CopHolster or Simple Native Trainer does work, but that you'll have to install these mods later without overwriting these files. Keep that in mind.

Now make sure the game launches without any issues, and that RDE works. Again, if you're using steam, launch it through steam.

From there, go ahead and add LSPDFR and Rage Plugin Hook (in that order!). Also, go into the scripts folder, and remove everything. These scripts has to do with Six Star Response, Arrest Warrant etc. and does not matter if you're playing LSPDFR. Neither are they compatible.

LSPDFR should launch without any issues. This time, of course, launch the game using Rage Plugin Hook. If you've made LSPDFR auto-load on launch, and it crashes on launch, please try to load it manually through the console. Hit F4 (which is the default) and type in LoadPlugin. LSPDFR should pop up as the one and only choice. My game has no problems running RDE and LSPDFR together this way, and neither should yours.

Now onto the LSPDFR-related files that couldn't be added automatically..

Install the modifications you want. Do it one by one, though, and launch the game after each time to make sure it all works. It takes time, but that's modding.

Find your RDE oiv file, the one you installed earlier.

Right click, click "Open" on the very top, and select WinRAR. If you're using 7zip instead of WinRAR, I would assume it is also compatible, however I've never used 7zip, and I truly have no idea. If it doesn't work, get WinRAR.

Inside the oiv, open the "content" folder.

Here there's 6 folders starting with "LSPDFR", followed by the specific mod the folder contains files for. You'll have to figure out where these files go yourself, however it's gonna be inside your Plugins folder somewhere. Look through the folder for the modification you're installing files for, and you'll eventually find them.

Please note that there are folders named "FBI" inside some of the 6 "LSPDFR" folders in your oiv. These are supposed to be used instead of the ones outside of the FBI folder if you've installed the Federal Law addon.

I hope you get it working, and that you can enjoy RDE agencies, departments, vehicles and peds with LSPDFR! If you're having issues, I recommend joining the RDE discord server and message us in the suggestions-support channel! Link is further up and on the RDE download page.

Lots of very helpful words.

Thank you for this write up. FYI, 7zip does work as well, that's what I used to manually install. Sometimes LSPDFR does crash on startup for me and sometimes it doesn't, though it seems to crash much less frequently since I made sure all of the LSPDFR files are installed. I'll have to try to load it manually and see if it works then.

I've now heard that the crash on startup seems to be a typical RPH issue. I've encountered it before with CopHolster. It should however load when you do it manually through the console.

We've just encontered an issue that cause LSPDFR to crash on e.g. traffic stops. The team will look into it and talk to the necessary people.
The method I've given should get everyone up and running to the point where they can launch and load everything without issues, though. That's at least a step in the right direction.

Turrets not moving is a currently unfixable bug introduced by Rockstar in gunrunning update, as stated in 3.1 change log.

TIPS ON THE LEFT

Well well, RDE 3.1 isn't short on epic moments, just as the previous version.

So I am at a traffic light next to Franklin's when a Vago pulls up, exits his car and all of a sudden shoots someone on the sidewalk (a Grove member perhaps).

I'm like ooookay...

Then 3-4 GSF thugs start shooting at the Vago, he takes cover and fires back. One of the thugs has an AK.

I'm like should I call the cops to see how they handle such shootouts?

Just when I'm thinking this, an unmarked Stanier lights up, the officer in a white shirt (a detective perhaps?) shoots the Vago dead with one single shot. Of course, the GSF guys are on the cop now! He's outnumbered, so he takes a round and collapses. Just as he does, I'm hearing a ton of sirens from three different directions. And like 5 black and whites arrive (definitely two Buffalos, Stanier and a Gresley), cops get out and engage the whole GSF set now! The cops had body armor and rifles and shotguns too, they took on, I believe, TEN gangsters and shot them all dead. As a finishing touch, an ambulance arrives just as the last shot is fired and paramedics rush to the downed detective.

This all happened at dark, with red and blues all other the place, the cops had their flashlights on, well, I wish I made some screenshots to show you guys, but..

It was a mind blowing scene, I've never seen anything like that in GTA outside of missions and LSPDFR. It reminded me of the SouthLAnd episode when a gang detective was killed.

The only thing is... Could something be done with that traffic? Make them all leave their cars or just sit still insdead of mindlessly driving forward when shots are fired? Damn.

Nice story. Yeah, the ambient gang violence coupled with the automatic backup is really amazing.

I'm guessing the dense AI ruined the scene?
