Just when I'm thinking this, an unmarked Stanier lights up, the officer in a white shirt (a detective perhaps?) shoots the Vago dead with one single shot. Of course, the GSF guys are on the cop now! He's outnumbered, so he takes a round and collapses. Just as he does, I'm hearing a ton of sirens from three different directions. And like 5 black and whites arrive (definitely two Buffalos, Stanier and a Gresley), cops get out and engage the whole GSF set now! The cops had body armor and rifles and shotguns too, they took on, I believe, TEN gangsters and shot them all dead. As a finishing touch, an ambulance arrives just as the last shot is fired and paramedics rush to the downed detective.

 

This all happened at dark, with red and blues all other the place, the cops had their flashlights on, well, I wish I made some screenshots to show you guys, but..

 

It was a mind blowing scene, I've never seen anything like that in GTA outside of missions and LSPDFR. It reminded me of the SouthLAnd episode when a gang detective was killed.

 

The only thing is... Could something be done with that traffic? Make them all leave their cars or just sit still insdead of mindlessly driving forward when shots are fired? Damn.

The edited relationships file is something I'm quite proud of putting together, though it's somewhat divisive in that it makes conflict a bit too common for some tastes. But combined with NefariousBonne's revamped loadouts file, and Yard's ambient police backup system, it makes driving around the gang-infested areas of Los Santos a lot more interesting. Good to see people enjoying it.

I have a problem: when I try open rdecomponentpeds_p.rpf archive in OpenIV, it suddenly gets corrupted (for no reason) and I can't open it. Am I the only one with this issue?

Not quite, but surely not because it didn't try to. They run over some cops, one fatally. Other than that, the cops lost only that detective. 

 

In GTA IV the AI was scripted to leave their vehicles and run away. It was irritating but much better than that V nonsense. They don't even try to drive away, they just plow through. 

RDE 3.1 is so great that I didn't play the wanted suspect, but it was me myself to be a wanted suspect. 

Just travelled so many counties here in Southern California, doing a trip pretty much like this one:

That utility that allows you to check for errors is such a life saver and I over looked it for so long. You get so busy and making changes that you get tired and make mistakes. RDE worked properly it was the other stuff that broke.

Visit me on youtube. The most common reason for crashing is user error. Make sure you have the latest RAGE, ScripthookV, ScripthookVdotnet and turn off your antivirus. Make sure you have an up to date gameconfig.xml as well. Use Allbo's plugin troubleshooter to find any errors too. 


 

 

hi guys, my question is more on the mods folder i have a lot of mods in my folder + lots of poilce cars around 25 cars, as it says my mods folder should be empty, so  my question can i just load back my mods folder on top of the new one, My question maybe sounds so you know what!! but i'm a 62  year old kid that is not a computer wizard!!!

 

been playing lcpdfr and lspdfr for 5 years know and i really enjoy it.

I also reopened after trying several times after OpenIV would not crash can open the file.

I always thought SSR was for non-LSPDFR related play and once you went on duty, then RDE's other functions happened.

 

Is there something specific by turning on and off SSR for LSPDFR play?

Some of SSR functions are working even without a wanted level and may interfere with LSPDFR. We did not have any specific checks for LSPDFR before.

Six Star Response play under normal conditions (playing the bad guy, not LSPDFR) is awesome. A great amount of units and variety.

 

Playing with LSPDFR shows great variety with cars, etc. now and player models look great.

 

So far I have had Cop Holster stop working (plugin wont load). I've also used the 'call backup' menu and only receive normal units. For example calling local or NOOSE SWAT teams brings the usual transporter van or unmarked Granger. I'll try some more to see if other units will spawn too.

As for everyone having issues with certain configs and xmls not being replaced, attached to this post is a .7z file that has them all in it, taken directly from my source files.

Is there a reason the files are not being replaced? Do we need to run OIV as administrator?

That would work, yes, or you can grab them from my post. They're the exact same config files, so pick whichever option you find easier.

Nope, all options from the installer are in the attached file. You just need to pick whatever version you like, they're laid out reasonably clearly.
