[WIP] LSPDFR+, British Policing Script's International Sister Modification

LSPDFR+ - Enhanced Traffic Stops - Court System - Pursuit Improvements

Download:

LSPDFR+ is currently a work in progress. It is a script modification designed to give LSPDFR a slightly richer experience. This is done by overhauling certain LSPDFR features, like the Traffic Stop system, while retaining LSPDFR's basic controls (minimal extra keys required) and smoothness. LSPDFR+ is basically a collection of features that tie in closely with the original LSPDFR and don't fit into my other modifications' theme. It is similar to British Policing Script, but without the 'British' part, I guess

Currently Planned Features for Initial Release:

  • Overhaul LSPDFR's Traffic Stop system to make the interaction more indepth (again, similar to British Policing Script). [Done]
  • Add a highly compatible Court System for details of your suspects' sentencing. [Done]
  • It will include an improved, less lethal Pursuit AI project I've been working on. [Done]
  • Pursuit Tactics menu for the new pursuit AI [Done].
  • API for other developers to create court cases & more. [Done]
  • Integration with British Policing Script, automatically disabling features British Policing Script already offers, while retaining others. [Done]
  • Statistics Counter. [Done]
  • Prevent UTurns during pursuits. [Done]
  • More indepth Traffic Stop Questioning [Done]
  • Any suggestions I find appealing - please let me know what you'd like to see in the Traffic Stop overhaul in particular.

Made a great breakthrough: LSPDFR+'s Pursuit AI now keeps AI police units under proper control - until YOU attempt to box the suspect in!

In regards to the court system I had an idea of when you issue them a summons to appear in court, that maybe (at random) that person fails to show and it will appear on the court cases menu activating

This sounds really cool Albo. I look forward to what you and the community come up with!

"Please, put it in park, will ya?" "LSPD, see the lights, pullover." "Stop the vehicle, we need to have a little chat!" "Get in the car and keep your mouth shut." "You have the right to absolutely nothing." "The damn gun is jammed!"

I've been waiting a while for something similar to this idea, bringing back the feel of TicketTime in GTA IV. (It would be quite nice to be able to fill out a citation for the driver like ticket time, rather than just simply issuing it.)

Traffic stops feel too bland and quick in LSPDFR, and i think this mod will certainly improve that, Thank you!

reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Really excited to see this! :)

One thing I would like is having actual IDs showed on screen. For instance, the driving license, with the picture of the ped, etc.
Which lets you check everything is in order manually (date of validity, corresponds to the insurance paper, etc etc).

It's a bit like in the videogame "papers please". Of course I'm aware this may not be possible, but something along those lines would be pretty cool :)

Edit: just checked out "ticket time" which was mentionned above. That's exactly what I was explaining :p

Personally, I'd like a "Rush Court Date" feature... So that I could skip directly to it, rather than having to wait several real days. Just my thoughts

It'll have the same INI option as British Script :)

Well since you've already got my previous suggestion covered, how about the ability to have a court case for any NPC we arrest? (Regardless of whether or not they were involved in a call) We could have a menu pop up after arresting someone (like the traffic stop menu) with options regarding why we're arresting them. Or, is this honestly too large a task? I'm unfamiliar with what all it takes to mod GTA V, so forgive me if my suggestions are far fetched.

I think LSPDFR mods have almost everything it's needs to be awesome  except 2 problems. 1)AI pursuit issues,  which looks like this mod will address, (mod currently out takes a ton of cpu to run all the settings for it)  and 2) everybody freaking out around you when dealing with a gun point arrest,  ie getting ran over,  crime scene going messed up etc. This will make game play some much better. I haven't found any mods that currently work to fix it.

Other idea I have is having more traffic callouts with it,  like MVA. There are currently callouts out like it but also have non traffic related callouts and no way to block them.

Have you tried Keep Calm?

Glad you're looking forward to it!

Yes,  I've tried it a few times. Sometimes it feels like it could be helping,  but for the most part it doesn't. I seen videos with other using it with same result. I didn't start playing until. 31 was out,  so not sure how good it was before hand.

I tried out your British script lastnight,  and if this is going to be like it, once again you will have a winning mod! Once again,  thanks for the time you have put in to everything you make.

I second this! I would love to see something like TicketTime again.

The idea of sending everyone you arrested to court or at least some kind of system to punish AI you arrest with a fair punishment would be a great addition and I actually like the idea that it takes a few days before court comes up as it feels more real but if we could maybe have an option so that some of us who want it done quick can have that whilst others that want to wait a few days or maybe a week could have that as well I feel that would be a great addition. Now I have no idea how hard any of this could be to make in to reality but that would be a massive plus if it was possible. And I must add that even though we have Safer Chases Plugin to help with the crappy Police AI chases we definitely need to get someone who could give the whole Police AI a complete over haul if it where possible and I must admit that after seeing Albo's work so far I am sure he will be able to pull something out the bag to get that fixed. ( No pressure there bud lol) Well no matter what goes into it I know it's going to be a great hit as he has always done a fantastic job on he's work and I just look forward to the day it gets released and I wish him all the best for this project!!! All the best Bud. ;-)

Not really related to traffic stops, but if there is a way to avoid dismissing backup units that are on scene once you have arrested the suspect, that would be cool (or for instance backup units stay on scene until you hit a particular button that dismisses them all).

I mean, for now, as soon as you arrest the ped, every cop is getting in their car and drive off (running you over at the same time :p ). This particular behaviour means that there is no real "crime scene", since you are left alone right away and kills the immersion a bit.

Same happens when you call for a backup during a traffic stop btw (with the LSPDFR backup system). The cop stops, gets out of the car, walk, and then drive off.

Just my 2 cents :)

Having to actually fill out the ticket a-la MDT mod would be great.  Either integrating MDT with LSPDFR+/Traffic Policer, or creating a whole new system.  I like paperwork (what can I say, German ancestry lol)!

Is it possible to replace the pup up box when you push F9 ore L ore other key to work with, Now it can happen you have more then 1 box open and then most off the time they pup up at the same place.

I use 2 monitor's so It would be great when it is possible to place the pup up box's to the other monitor so you have the screen with the game on it free from box's
