taxi44 got a reaction from MatixMann in Why not open source LSPDFR?
LSPDFR hasn't seen an update in over a year.  I've been told it's still being worked on, so I'll accept that as true, but nevertheless, it seems clear that whatever is being done is taking a very long time.

My question is, why not open source it on GitHub?  People could contribute, submit pull requests, then all the developers would need to do is test the new code.  Development could proceed much faster.  Since LSPDFR is already free of charge, I don't see any downside to releasing the source.

taxi44 got a reaction from RobertTM in [Request] Mod to make suspects randomly decide to fight or run
When you are doing a takedown, it goes pretty much the same every time.  They put their hands up, do that stupid little "I'm gonna act like I'm gonna run but NO JUST KIDDING I'm really not" animation, then get on the ground.  As long as you keep your gun on them, there's no real suspense to the situation.  An awesome mod would be one that gives a (preferably configurable) random chance for the suspect to decide to try to get the drop on you in the middle of this.  Pull a gun if he has one and shoot you, or try to run, or, if you are standing too close, melee you, and then either continue attacking you or make a break for it.

That's the one (Better Dispatch Audio)!  Thanks!  I didn't read it thoroughly enough and thought it only changed the dispatcher's responses.

I believe this is the one you're referring to, not 100% positive -

This one moreso just improves realism, if you want that -

Hi Albo!  Awesome mod as always!  What you do is very much appreciated.  I have two suggestions to make this great mod even better:

    1) When we give someone a court summons, make it appear as an actual court case in the F9 menu.  Also, I don't know how it works in Britain, but in the USA, a ticket technically IS a court summons, and paying the fine just means you plead guilty and choose not to appear.  So maybe they could have a random small chance to fight the ticket if we choose to issue a ticket, and then that would show up in the court cases, too.

    2) Integrate with Computer+ ticketing so that we can fill out tickets in there and then hit a button in the LSPDFR+ menu to hand over the ticket.  Currently if you write a ticket on the computer LSPDFR+'s menu is still up and it sorta breaks immersion.

Thank you for your great work!! :)
