Grantalaxy reacted to Albo1125 in [WIP] LSPDFR+, British Policing Script's International Sister ModificationLSPDFR+ - Enhanced Traffic Stops - Court System - Pursuit Improvements
Download:
LSPDFR+ is currently a work in progress. It is a script modification designed to give LSPDFR a slightly richer experience. This is done by overhauling certain LSPDFR features, like the Traffic Stop system, while retaining LSPDFR's basic controls (minimal extra keys required) and smoothness. LSPDFR+ is basically a collection of features that tie in closely with the original LSPDFR and don't fit into my other modifications' theme. It is similar to British Policing Script, but without the 'British' part, I guess
Currently Planned Features for Initial Release:
Overhaul LSPDFR's Traffic Stop system to make the interaction more indepth (again, similar to British Policing Script). [Done] Add a highly compatible Court System for details of your suspects' sentencing. [Done] It will include an improved, less lethal Pursuit AI project I've been working on. [Done] Pursuit Tactics menu for the new pursuit AI [Done]. API for other developers to create court cases & more. [Done] Integration with British Policing Script, automatically disabling features British Policing Script already offers, while retaining others. [Done] Statistics Counter. [Done] Prevent UTurns during pursuits. [Done] More indepth Traffic Stop Questioning [Done] Any suggestions I find appealing - please let me know what you'd like to see in the Traffic Stop overhaul in particular.
Early version access is now open! All Loyalty participants currently have access - check out the Loyalty Rewards Programme.

Grantalaxy reacted to TaylorSwift in [WIP] LSPDFR+, British Policing Script's International Sister ModificationI've been waiting a while for something similar to this idea, bringing back the feel of TicketTime in GTA IV. (It would be quite nice to be able to fill out a citation for the driver like ticket time, rather than just simply issuing it.)
Traffic stops feel too bland and quick in LSPDFR, and i think this mod will certainly improve that, Thank you!

Grantalaxy reacted to Hastings in Do any of you still enjoy LCPDFR?I do, because the Liberty City vibe is great. Those projects, narrow alleys, rain, brown leaves, noisy subways... I feel that the atmosphere in IV is better than in V, probably because the V is too perfect. But the crashes... Lord.

Grantalaxy got a reaction from AgentCharles in Police Officer Shootout (Body-Cam)Saw this, the guy was doing a suicide by cop. That gun was only a BB gun. Sucks :/ However, did you see how Sgt. Green pushed the silverware out of the way and watched as the suspect walked by? Pretty good move.

Grantalaxy reacted toRayDaBeastin Police Officer Shootout (Body-Cam)I agree,
I was amazing how fast the police responded outside.
Some wonder why they shot so many shots, the answer is simple, when your trained to become a cop, they tell you if your ever in this type of situation, your brain will contunie to pull the trigger until your brain feels that you are safe.
Pretty interesting to be honest.
One thing I forgot to mention,
I love it how (@4:30) Sgt.Green moved the knife away from the table.
Pretty good police work to be honest.

Grantalaxy reacted to LukeD in [WIP/REL] CalloutsV - The Successor to Callouts+As some of you may recall I made a status update about how I planned to recreate Callouts+ for GTA V. Today I am pleased to inform you all that this is definitely the case and that CalloutsV will be made.
This thread will offer you a rough idea as to the callouts and features I plan to create as of now, and once in development this thread will act as my WIP forum area to give you updates and respond to support requests and suggestions.
I hope to make CalloutsV the biggest and most comprehensive callouts plugin possible.
Planned Callouts
Many of the callouts from Callouts+ will be making there way over to the big city of Los Santos, for you to engage with. In addition to these there will be multiple paths to take with several callouts, including decisions to make and timers to race against. In Los Santos, your police training will be hit hard. Don't expect tutorials and easy callouts. You'll need to think on your feet.
Below is a list of callouts I plan to make:
I have assigned colours for indication of progress, red not done, orange in progress, green done.
• Officer Down / Requesting Assistance
• Illegal Street Races
• Broken Down Vehicles / Highway Obstructions
• Road Traffic Collisions / Motor Vehicle Accidents
• EMS Requesting Escort
• Injured Pedestrians
• Vehicle Fitted With Tracker
• Location based events (at stores etc)
• Many more...
Planned Features
I originally said no features, however due to the way I plan on changing each callout means I will need some default functionality. Don't worry though! If you would rather use another plugins tow truck or paramedic, you can! I will be designing each callout to consider what happens if someone else repairs the car or heals the ped or takes them away from the scene.

Suggestions, Ideas & Feedback
Of course this is a plugin about what you guys want to see as much as what I would like to make. Suggestions will always be accepted, but not always implemented or used. Feel free to post ideas below as always.
Developers, Have your say!
CalloutsV will blatantly not be the only callouts plugin for LSPDFR, with time other developers will want to jump in on the action. If you do plan to release callouts, feel free to drop me a message via the PM system on the forum. With multiple different people working on callouts it's hard to ensure each plugin remains unique and fun, developers will often overlap ideas and that's where problems occur. To work around this, get in touch so we can discuss ideas, I'm already in conversation with FinKone and Straysify to ensure we don't tread on each other's toes. So don't hesitate to contact me.
Warning: If you choose not to contact me, and then get pissy at me for "copying" your idea or you decide to copy mine. I will not take too kindly to this, make the effort to get in touch before trying to slate me for theft etc. I'm not a nasty person, and I will happily discuss things with other developers to peacefully resolve conflicts.

Grantalaxy reacted to Stealth22 in [REL] Traffic Control - Close off the road while you investigate and clear a scene!Hi folks,
Please be gentle, as this is my very first script mod.
One of my biggest frustrations is having to clean up a scene (after a pursuit or shootout), only to have traffic driving through the crime scene, hitting vehicles, or worse, police officers. If either the player or an AI officer gets hit, the AI officers go batshit, and start shooting at that car. The NPC civilians then go batshit, driving over anything and everything to get the hell out of there.
This might be implemented by the LSPDFR team later, but for now, to try and help mitigate this, enter my new Stop Traffic mod!
As the name implies, this plugin will stop all traffic within a certain radius of the player's location when the mod is enabled. All cars will come to a stop, and will remain stopped until you hit the assigned key again. I may also make the mod disable itself automatically if the player goes too far from the scene, and I am also looking at customizing it a bit more. For instance, maybe the officer can choose whether to simply slow down traffic (and then use barricades to close one lane), or close the road entirely.
This script is being developed for the Rage hook, and I am currently testing it. I also need to add things like the ability to change the default key, and perhaps controller support. But mainly I want to make sure it works properly. I don't want traffic being stopped/started repeatedly while entering names into the new LSPDFR 0.2 laptop, for example.
I expect this to be released fairly soon, though, at least as a beta, anyway. If anyone would like to help me out with testing, feel free to post here. I have not yet decided whether to do a limited beta testing period, but if I do, I might send it to a few people before releasing it to the public.

Known Issues
- Unfortunately, if you impose a speed limit, or stop all traffic, all NPC support vehicles, including, but not limited to tow trucks, coroner vans, AND backup POLICE UNITS will ALSO OBEY these restrictions. There is currently no known fix for this issue, but both FinKone and I are working on it.
UPDATE (AUG 13, 2015) - This issue has been resolved in v0.5.0, but it is still experimental at this stage, and is disabled by default. The feature can be enabled in the config file.
