Chrome is blocking my 0.2a download

Featured Replies

Yeah same, since it's never happened on any site download or update in the past years i'm not going to download it until i hear something confirming it's safe. Not worth the risk to me.

I really don't know what's causing this, but it is very annoying.  Other browsers should work fine though.

In case you're concerned, here's the VirusTotal scan for it: https://www.virustotal.com/en/file/f26eb7b4ac8951be55de7c625baa1c25a81819ede24301328f3bfe52f17c82ff/analysis/

I think it might have.

"You tell me exactly what you want, and I will very carefully explain to you why it cannot be."

If it flags it as malicious during your download, open the downloads tab and it should let you continue the download. There should be an option called "recover malicious file" or something like that.

Yea I did that and it's all good now.

Firefox has blocked this file for me 5 times now.

Whats going on?

Clearly explained above...

What browser do you use?

It's not my antivirus that blocks it, because i can download it with Explore and scan it and nothing comes up. This is why im asking whats going on.

It's a bit odd, that two browsers block this and not the antivirus software.

So i like to know, what browser would you guys use instead, because i really dont like explore and im getting tired of Firefox and it's problems like this and it also has problems on youtube. So, maybe you could share what you think is best?

I already had issues with 0.2 but I managed to deal with it by forcing the browser to download it despite the warning but I just can't get 0.2a at all.

Firefox has no reaction. I go through the security check, I hit the Submit button and nothing happens. Absolutely nothing. Not even a warning. Nothing.

Chrome manages to "download" a file but its size is 0. I did deactivate the phishing and malware protection but it still downloads nothing. Same deal with Internet Explorer.

It's LSPDFR 0.2a specifically, I am able to download other mods with no issue except for the malware warnings.

Where we're going, we don't need signatures.
