The thing I would like to see most is involvement of other first response branches giving the opportunity for fire and rescue callouts to be vanilla.so that in the future when clan's do form. They will all be using lspdfr.

The hotkey backup thing I mentioned is def possible, I think it would be a lot easier then spending 15 minutes logging in the Police Computer to request backup. 

Scripting K-9 Units shouldnt be too hard, being as if Franklin were to bring chop & you go shoot up a gang area or cops, chop would usually attack them a few times before getting scared off. To me I think choosing a Human Partner or K-9 Partner would work differently, not just selecting a Dog model from the Partner section. A callout to respond to Prison Bus & simply escort the Bus & a random chance of something happening (crash, hijacking, bomb, etc.). 

Specific roles you could play as a cop could work, Park Rangers, Highway Patrol, Constable, Helicopter Crew, Prison Officer, LS County, Blaine County, Etc.

NOOSE operates under FIB as a anti riot, street combat ready, heist prevention, etc. So Riot Trucks full of NOOSE Enforcers as a backup for responding to shootouts or riots would be awesome.

I'm definitely excited to see your improvement!  I hope a new round of screenshots comes out soon so we can see how much progress your making (I kind of don't though because then it makes me impatient)!

​If you mean, that the LSFD would respond to the player as backup, say to put out a fire, of heal someone that would be similar to LCPDFR, and should work I guess. But if you mean for you to be able to play as a fire fighter or EMT, I'm pretty sure that would have to be a separate mod.

Err, I'm not sure if anyone saw it yet, or if its of any importance but OpenIV had an update allowing some archives (RPF) and for models to be viewed. I'm sure about animations or anything like that but nevertheless it's an update, is it of any use towards the mods development?

They haven't updated their download button with the newest version but the update was released on the front page with todays date. http://openiv.com

Not sure anyone has linked it yet, but for those REALLY impatient people, you can at the very least, generically play as a cop for the time being using the Police Mod, lol.

Not even close to the complexity that LSPD:FR will be but maybe it'll at least keep the people who keep asking for a release date happy until then :P
