  4. Holy... you're right. Interceptor is highly customizable, 2x custom hoods, spoilers, bumpers, skirts, exhausts. About Staniers - can't change lightbars through menu, same with spoiler for Buffalo police cruiser. And of course - it's possible to upgrade engine, transmission, etc.

  6. Police cars aren't customizable, already tried that. All you can change - colors and wheels. I'm sure it will be possible once OpenIV get full functionality.

  10. That's not a good idea at all, life isn't a game, health won't regen after damage caused by weeks of heavy coding without enough rest =\

  17. I'm pretty sure when game files modding gets available - some skilled modders like Skilldre and Nine30 will fix and finish North Yankton. Right now it's too soon to even think about it though. And State of San Andreas is huge enough to have fun for months until it gets boring.

  20. And here is my shot, nothing special tho: Other two are out of terms so I'll leave them under the spoiler if you don't mind

  22. It's "just" weeks, actually. Modding isn't too much different from any other kind of game developing (except that modders aren't paid for their hard work), it takes a lot of time if you aim for quality. Some mods of the same scale have been under development for years just to hit that "simple, perfect, playable"-sweet spot. Without public alpha\beta versions, only cold fact - "it's WIP", plus few screenshots once a month. You don't need to be patient, just accept the fact that it won't be out soon and don't poke devs about "when?" ;) And about callouts. It could be great if devs can make some kind of a framework for adding custom callouts, like a block of code where you just put all the required data. Callout type, location (coords?), suspect type, weapons, activity (shootout, robbery, IED, drugs, yada yada yada), dispatch text, requirements for accepting a callout (maybe you need a K9 with you). So even very bad coders (like me) can quickly make their own callouts, put newly created block inside framework code, or ini file, and go play it. But probably that kind of framework will be very hard to implement.

  24. Just a little question to the devs. Is it (or will be) possible in LSPDFR to keep police lights on without siren? I'm lurking through nativedb, playing around with stuff, learning a bit. And can't find anything to keep just lights =\ To "unbelievers" - this cake is not a lie ;)

  27. Thank you very much! Yeah found it when Sam said that he's working on arrest animations, but I saw it after I've posted the video haha... Can't remove/edit my post, so I'm sorry again. Anyway, awesome stuff is happening here. Unfortunately, latest events around modding showed that mod users sometimes can be very rude. I can't say it about GTA community, because I'm very new to it, but Fallout and Skyrim - users think modders owe them something. "Stop teasing, release it finally", "Where's new version? Why still WIP?", basically don't sleep, don't rest, just do coding 24/7. But the truth is - modders don't owe them literally nothing. And users should keep it in mind before asking "When it will be released?".
  28. I sincerely apologise if you already know about this, but here is a video with vanilla arrest, maybe it will help you:
  29. After hours of boring waiting for at least one short ambient chase on a highway - this looks so exciting! I really hope to see soon an early version with chases ;) Keep up the good work guys!
