HiluxHelix reacted to Synapt in LSPDFR Announcement + Preview
To apply some emphasis on this, it's worth noting the issue where the bans lie apparently come from the fact GTA:O can't tell the difference between what might be intended for single-player loading only, all it sees is the .dll injection stuff and basically goes "Well this doesn't pass integrity".
TL;DR: Before playing GTA:O make sure you remove all mod files from the GTA:V directories.

HiluxHelix got a reaction from TheUniT in LSPDFR Announcement + PreviewWhy should there exist gta-mp and sa-mp as a single choice instead of making R* a real life game and gta-mp and sa-mp to be a second choice if you don't enjoy the original server?Instead of having fun, we are forced by them to not buy their game, cause if you use any mod that would "affect" the online gameplay, you get banned.
on topic:I hope that the end is more than near and LSPDFR will be released more than very soon.Keep up the good work!

HiluxHelix reacted to Tom S. in LSPDFR Announcement + PreviewSam did say it was really stable compared to LCPDFR and had no crashes so the first release may be a solid one with the basics like callouts, pursuits and traffic stops. Although I would rather have a bugless playable mod than one with loads of bugs.

We'll show off things when we're ready to show them. I said a few days ago that we didn't want to show too much, primarily because it is pretty cruel to all of you when you see a bunch of screenshots pretty much teasing you. Yes, I like to do a little bit of teasing, but I don't want to overdo it and shove something that people don't have but desperately want in their faces. Secondly, I think it is much more exciting when we don't tell absolutely everything about the mod, and finally, as I said before, I'm usually too busy actually doing stuff to put together a video or whatever. Yes, we could dedicate time to making videos and blogs and such, but that just takes time away from the stuff that really matters right now - the actual development.
Oh yeah, then there's the part where when we do show things, people claim that we're just using the trainer! Regardless, I'd like to put together another video and maybe release a new batch of screenshots, but other than that, work continues.
