There are no benefits to donating, except contributing to the continuation of this community and making LSPDFR (or whatever name is decided on) more possible.

Yes, of course I don't recommend using AdBlock. But if you want to contribute to the continuation of the community, and the ads are really that bothersome, then donate a reasonable amount and block them. Or don't donate, use Adblock, and contribute to the downfall of the community.

No problem, I Understand because my YouTube earnings are low compared to what they would be, If some people chose to disable adblock. So, That is another reason it crushes any ad earnings...

How does one donate to LCPDFR? I recently won the local lottery, and I'm willing to donate when the money arrives. I will not specify the amount, because it would be pointless and only start comment chains of "You're lying".

Yes, but this still doesn't eliminate that bothersome conscience-attacking red authoritative-pink banner that shows up on the top of the page for every page you visit on LCPDFR.  Having a specific feature that turns off ads for a requirements-meeting donation would be better in that regard.

We reached out to a few companies, but they weren't interested. But you're right, maybe we should try it again.

 

1. i have disabled my ad block on here as well as of right now.

 

 2. instead of contacting a company couldn't someone who runs the site just have some bad ass T shirts made up and sell them himself to members? i would rock an LCPDFR shirt right now!! i'm sure there is a trustworthy way of doing something like that. all would have to do is make a template of what we want and take it to the local T shirt shop. they charge a fee for every color that is used and the cost of the T shirt. I'm sure we could sell some shirts for $20. but if i buy one i want a T shirt badge for ma siggy :)
