Glad he wasn't indicted. Everyone was flipping out over him being innocent, when Michael Brown committed the crimes in the first place, and assaulted the officer. Oh well...

What's sad is that most people forget that. They say well why did he use deadly force? Well he was assaulted and im not saying jump straight for your gun when you get hit because it could be by an autistic person or someone with disabilities. However he had to retaliate somehow. 

 

Heck most civilians when they get in a fight in a bad neighborhood they are quick to pull a gun and shoot somebody. When its a cop that does it though its illegal and he should be thrown in jail. Yet they want to help their homie or friend escape capture. 

 

I am happy that he is off the hook, but I wish sometimes people would absorb all the different sides of the story before really rioting and passing judgement. Sometimes nothing good comes out of getting with a huge group of people fore a cause. 

Call me racist. I'm honestly done with people calling me racist, and I don't care. 

 

<rant> I am so pissed at how African Americans protest problems within their race/community. Looting, burning, killing, are all prime contenders. Now while I understand this is under extreme circumstances, and most of the time they protest peacefully and legally (including numerous days of protests in Ferguson), the black community completely disregards the principles of honestly, their liberator, Martin Luther King every time they protest like this with such irony. I'm sick of the Anonymous masks (unrelated), and people showing up to a peaceful protest with the intention of looting Walgreens. I'm sick of the black community blaming police (Who granted, are overwhelmingly white) when it is the police that show up to the death of every single black on black homicide in cities across the nation. They don't give a shit about the police when they're there to serve them, but the second one makes a mistake (or looks like one made a mistake) the racist cards just starts flying every like a game of Make it Rain. </rant>

Because when something happens to a Black person, Black people step up and protest. When something happens to a White person, nobody does anything. If Whites were to gather and protest when something happened, this would be a 2-way street.

But if Whites did go crazy, I'm sure it would have changed the outcome of the situation, though I'm unfamiliar with what even occurred. 

 

If the people sit back and allow tyranny, nothing will change. This isn't necessarily limited to these cases, but more so generalization. If the people disagree with an action committed by the government, or anyone for that matter, the people should act. This is what Blacks have done in Ferguson, though I disagree with the use of violence. Martin Luther King didn't teach our people to be violent, though the LA riots in the 90's did show that Blacks weren't going to sit there and be harassed.

Well I'm sure there have been plenty of cases where racism played the dominant role, it would only take a quick Bing search, I switched to Bing over Google. I can't form an opinion on the basis of most problems Blacks have with law enforcement, are because of themselves; Because I can't judge every single case and decide on whether or not it was racism or ignorance. Keep in mind that it isn't just Blacks that are rioting, this is just what the media is feeding everyone. Footage of Blacks running amok in a burning ghetto. I can understand why Blacks would protest, Some believe the use of lethal force wasn't necessary. Though I do agree that most Blacks are ignorant on the issue. Again, it's a community issue that will never be fixed, and it goes back deep into our history. Careless grandparents lead to incompetent parents, causing a stupid modern generation.

But here's the issue, and correct me if I'm wrong. A certain percentage of the black community doesn't care about the change. At least, not more interested than burning down and looting Walgreens. They are not actively constructing a better society, rather they are deconstructing it. Again, only a certain percentage, and it makes the community as a whole look bad. 

 

With that said, the outcome was just. Not just the verdict.

 

If it was obvious that the Officer Wilson stalked down and murdered Mr. Brown in cold blood, and got away with it because they wasn't ample evidence (Like OJ Simpson), then there is reason for protest. 

 

But this wasn't just a just verdict, it was a just outcome. Officer Wilson did what was right, and never broke the law. I'm sick of ignorant people complaining about Police when they don't even know what the job entails. The community, for some reason doesn't realize that not being shot by the police is actually pretty easy. Robbing a store, walking down the center of a road, being rude to an officer, and assaulting an officer is not something to do. Yet this community for whatever reason sees a completely opposite image of perfect Mr. Brown surrendering to police commands and being executed on the street. I don't get it, and the police involved do not deserve the treatment they are getting.

I have nothing to correct you on, because you ARE correct. The majority of this violence is because of ignorance and stupidity, which dates back into previous generations of our culture. Just to elaborate on what I mean by this, I'll go into a little detail;

 

Throughout history, Blacks have always had leaders. Our people have always looked to someone as a role-model for our race, how to act, how to treat each other, etc. Those who are now our grandparents said that they'd allow their children to do whatever they want, since they were now seen as "equal" to their White counter-parts. This clearly wasn't a good idea, as most Blacks turned to crime because of music, which I've explained in the next portion.  

 

There was then a time when there were no Black leaders, with the exception of iconic rappers that rapped about drugs, sex, money, killing other "niggas", etc. Our community began to accept these idiots as role-models, and used their music to influence our lives, Keeping in mind the only famous and well-known Blacks during this time were rappers. Blacks began to act and think a certain way, based off of what these rappers were talking about. Summing all of this up, Black rappers are the source of Black ignorance and stupidity, which is growing generation by generation.

 

If what I've described to you makes sense, this is why a lot of Blacks are stupid. There isn't any purpose in sugar-coding it, a lot of Blacks are just plain stupid, me being Black myself. It's sad, and won't ever be fixed unless a Black leader rises in power and popularity, which probably won't ever happen. (Obama isn't considered a Black leader within the Black community, for several reasons that would take too much to explain)

Really I don't know how everything went down but I personally don't think it takes six shots to take the kid down. I'm not saying things shouldn't have happen like it did but I  wasn't there to see it and neither were any of us. But I do know for a fact 1 or 2 shots to the arm or leg will stop someone.

Under all that adrenaline, 6 shots were probably necessary to take him down. And again, under that stress and adrenaline, it's pretty hard to just shoot someone in the leg willy nilly. Police are trained to shoot in the center mass(easier target) and  shoot to kill or until the target is down. You never shoot to wound.
