I wrote to them a 4 page letter about 2 week ago about all the things that should be in the game and all the things i said i dont think the old gen consoles could handle all of it ill be going to college in the fall for computer engineering and thats the perfect time for gta 5 on pc and its funny i told them i was doing that this fall cant wait to put my face on a character and go ham and it seems like the put the cockpit in like i asked just beautiful just beautiful

I read about it when i opened up my email... I'm in the happiest mood now :D

I wonder if they really have taken their time in optimizing the game. Wouldn't want anything else than to run this game at 60 FPS on Ultra settings...

And that's even without the awesome mods that I'm sure people will be making for the coming  5 or 6 years

Finally :D:D:D, I can pickup modding and building good cars and cops ;)

Least suprising announcement since Ubisoft announced Watch underscore Dogs's PC version.

 

It's a shame they didn't release it on PC at first, the game was really let down by the sup-par current-gen console spec.

Personally, I'll hold off until we know wehther it's another IV quality port and that it's moddable, I don't care much for going back for the storyline and the game didn't offer much beyond it.

Its about time for a new pc then, Anybody wants a old intel core I7 4770S 16 gb ram 3 ssd 240 gb 7970 GHZ edition 3gb?
 

I just hope there will be LSPD:FR for GTA V, it might be really, really awesome.

Nobody know if or how moddable the PC version will be so there's no point in speculating about anything until it is released.

The answer to that question is: LCPDFR is already released for PC :P

The dense traffic will be a good spot for a high-speed pursuit! 

How will a Crown Victoria will look on GTA V? 

Well, it will be some interesting for patrolling in that city. So many locations, so many options. Really hope they make it mod friendly. Itll be sad to move on from Liberty City, but well.. time to get promoted and a new posting :P

Why not have both? LSPDFR could be operating side by side with LCPDFR.

Fuck... Look at all the cars on the road! It kinda shows at 0:54 that car's headlights can be turned either on or off, finally! The city just looks a lot more alive. I'm as excited as when GTA V was first announced :)

A mod in a similar extent as LCPDFR largely depends on what R* will do this time to prevent MP hacking, as this has been their "reason" to introduce annoying internal changes. If they hash all the script names again like they did for later IV patches, it will become very hard to modify it. I'm also really interested in which DRM they use this time, this might have an impact as well. For instance, IV refuses to launch if IDA is opened for analysis. So basically, it's really up to them how fast a mod can be released, if it's as unencrypted as IV 1.0 was, there is a high chance of FR returning to Los Angeles, if it's encrypted all over the places and hashed not so much.
