LCPDFR 1.0b Hotfix

It's a good release but is there any way of addressing the existing problems before releasing new content?

The game still crashes whenever back up is requested or prisoner transport. I haven't been able to test all the call outs yet but it also use to turn over when catching up to a pursuit or taking a shots fired call.

Support issues go into the LCPDFR support forum, post there.. This is not an issue most people are seeing and is not an LCPDFR issue.

Just wanted to say thank you guys for the new hotfix. 1.0b made my gaming experience MUCH more stable. And the option to call in the ID via radio is really useful as I do a lot of foot patroling

I'm pleased to see that for once it looks like we've fixed more than we've broken :)

LCPDFR Auto installer won't let me install in GTA IV folder only in my EFLC folder. Is anyone else getting that. I have 1.0a. The installer worked fine but the 1.0b installer is not detecting my GTA IV folder. I do have a clean version of both. Is anyone else having trouble?

If no one else is. I will start a support topic.

I'm finally able to play this version without crashing every 10 minutes! Thanks guys for releasing this!

I have one suggestion though, make it a option to just leave the person on the road that you just arrested like you use to be able to. I don't mind taking someone to the station every once and awhile but when your playing online (and offline) its nice to just be able to leave them there and they disappear. Especially during online play when calling a unit to transport crashes the game or bugs it out. Or easier yet, although not as realistic, just add a option to basically just make the suspect disappear after you've arrested them.

Also it states in the change log that you can now disable the following: Scenario camera, arrest cut scene and the scanner traffic. There isn't any option in the INI on how to do this

Strange thing: I have 0.95 installed on the Steam ver. of EFLC, and 1.0 on the main GTA IV, in different location. When I tried to install the fix, it suggested to install it in the EFLC location, so I had to change the path manually. But now, when I run the config file, it looks for LCPDFR in the EFLC folder and unsurprisingly doesn't find it. Is there a way to change the location the configurator is looking for?

Sam managed to ruin take over destroy enhance the last radio session because of this. I hope it was worth it. Will try it out as soon as I can :)

Invenio, Investigatio, Imperium

Great release guys, I also can play very long only on the un-modded one wich only has LCPDFR 1.0b on it ,but if I use a bigger pack with a lot of vehicles it crashes aprox. 20 minutes.

But anyways a very good stable release! Yay!

You can manually select the folder if it fails to detect your game folder. Just make sure you select the game root (where EFLC.exe or GTAIV.exe) is.

I am also having trouble getting 1.0b to install/recognize my installation

See above.

You can use the Configurator in the Diagnostics Tool to do this. It will add those ini options. For more see this: '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>

Is there a way to change the language? Or did i read it wrong?

Language Dlls will be provided soon.

Tick the checkbox at the bottom ("Advanced mode") to manually select the .ini file you wish to configure.

how do i check and id via radio?

You stop the person on foot and then hold down E.

Ask for their ID and after they gave it to you go back into the menu and in the same menu there should be a new function/button called "ID Check via Radio" I think it was and there you go!
