Wow thanks for sharing! I heard awhile ago that the tool used to convert cars from V to IV was in the works but that was awhile ago. Glad that it's finally a reality.

 

Edit: Ah the video is by Skyline, he was the one who I was referring to when they talked about the GTAV car converting program. He made a lot of cool GTAV textures for IV by extracting the textures from the game. I do hope he makes the vehicle ELS that way we can have a replicate lighting system compared to that of the one implemented in GTAV.

How are the files being converted to IV/PC if there isn't GTA V for pc yet? (I'm sure it's an obvious answer)

Sounds great. Better yet the model needs to be texture mapped so we can all make our own liveries. ELS would also improve the experience.

Nononononono, we don't need any ELS here folks! Just repaint it to the standard LCPD livery and I'm happy.

The wheel rims of the police cruiser  in the gameplay video looks color gray, but in Gta V, it is black. I ain't sure if it sure black in GTA V

The thing that is exciting is when the FIB vehicles in GTA V gets converted to IV! and also the sheriff SUV, and ESPECIALLY the Police Pursuit UNIT (Police Cruiser 3 by Vapid)!
I am going to make all the police vehicles in IV to be GTA V's as soon as it is good and released!

Based also in the video, it is non-ELS without the grill lights and the lights at the rear window working, just the lightbar. It seems that they are still working on the lights, and etc. Also, maybe they are making plans for making an ELS version or to make non-ELS and copy like GTA V;s lighting pattern.

Yeah, I downloaded it as it's awesome to see GTA V's stuff is convertable. Never would have imagined! But I don't know if I'll actually use it, Ekalb, as I am still using your version of the SAPD Vapid Cruiser in my own custom livery. I love that car. Great on the frame rate, and it still looks outstanding and is just too much fun to drive around in. Love the lightbar you have on it. I don't think I can replace it, as it's both my Police 1 and Police 2 slot.
