Idea for a new arrest system.

Featured Replies

Hi, I came up with this idea for a new arrest system. So here it is:

I was thinking like, if the arrested suspect is resisting, you may call for a prisoner transport (PSTOCKADE) that will take the suspect away. (Like in Britain)

And also, if you've got multiple suspects on-scene, you could press for example [F-8 - Multiple Suspect Transport] and a PSTOCKADE will come and you can transport 2 suspects in one pstockade.

And if you've got for example 8 suspects, and you need to take them away, I was thinking either you can call for several pstockades which will each pick up 2 suspects. OR you could, after 2 suspects have entered the pstockade, they despawn within the truck so more suspects can enter!

My whole point, however is that you should be able to arrest several suspects and not wait until the first suspect has been taken away. (This is the current system.)

  • If you have more than one person handcuffed at the one time, aim at each one and hit the button you want to use (f9 drive to station, f10 transport, f11 leave suspect) and it will still work the same.

  • I like the idea of calling a designated vehicle for transport. One of the cities near me doesn't transport at all in patrol cars, and instead has vans for people.

  • or you could just cuff them to the back of the van, and drag them away :D

You could have the Bus to Transport may Suspects.

Find or ask some one to make a Low Poly Bus and

make a Skin but have a Template that comes with

the bus??

Also to have me come back to this page to see more

about it Right away I need to be Quoted.

I think that partly solving the problem would be to make the carrier units respond to scene code 1 - this way we wouldn't have to rely on the AI to turn off their lights/sirens while using ELS (which, is one of the main causes of crashes/texture loss as ELS vehicles never despawn)

Busses only have four working seats, so the idea of one being a transport wouldn't work

Processor: Intel i5-6600 @ 3.30GHz

I like the idea of calling a designated vehicle for transport. One of the cities near me doesn't transport at all in patrol cars, and instead has vans for people.

Sticks and stones may break bones, but 5.56 fragments on impact.

All vehicles in GTA are capped at 4 seats, including driver. The pstockade would actually work just as well as a bus for moving prisoners.

Could it be possible to define which slot gets used in police custody transport?

I would like to utilize vans (installed in other slots, apart from police and police2) alot for this role as my local police force does so too, along with the rest of the world etc.

I'd love to see that feature as well (and I think I've actually asked for it in the past). Especially in EFLC, it just always uses police4. My police4 is often a sports car with police equipment; I don't think cops normally use unmarked Mustangs to pick up prisoners.

You know you can arrest multiple suspects currently right? Each will call their own prisoner transport but when the police officers get out and go over to them they'll put them into the closest police car.

The one thing that kind of slips by is that when you have multiple people cuffed, you have to aim at them when pressing the F-key.

You can? When I arrest one suspect, I have to wait until he gets taken away, if I don't and I arrest the other one, you can't press the F9 F10 or F11 buttons.

Only in V5, not V6.
