The police in Aschaffenburg belongs to the Polizeipräsidium Würzburg. No idea what they're like, never dealt with them.

Yes, those cars really don't have much lights, but the LEDs are actually damn bright. Unfortunately the siren is pretty quiet on the newer cars.

The area where I live falls within the competence of the Polizeidirektion Hannover ("Hanover Police Headquarters") with stations and departments both in the city of Hanover itself and the Region. The closest station to me which is open 24/7 is the police department (Polizeikommissariat) in Lehrte.

I didn't have that much police encounters so far, but the cops around here are doing a good job. They are pretty understaffed though.

Most of us are just showing off pictures and stuff but some people on this site are in law enforcement which I think is pretty awesome :)

Here in Argentina there are 2 principal Police Depts: The Policía Bonaerense Argentina (Argentina Buenos Aires Police) and the Policía Federal Argentina (Argentina Federal Police), in my city we only have P.B.A patrolling among with new cruisers from the ministery. In Buenos Aires there's more presence of the Federal Police than the Bs As Police.

For the highway that connect my city with Buenos Aires there's the Road Police, Road Safety and sometimes Gendarmerie stand on the side of the highway watching for speeders or reckless drivers.
