Umm.... Where to install these?

Open OpenIV. Go to mods/update/update.rpf/x64/dlcpacks, pick the latest patchday, and search for the weapons.rpf inside, put the files in there. The MK2 Variant can also be installed in the gunrunning patchday.

But if you're not familiar with modding yet, I recommend using this great mod by Albo1125, it makes modding a lot easier. I am sure you will be able to install the files if you use his pack and watch the tutorial video.

Do you have any custom weapon.meta files installed, or maybe a w_pi_combatpistol file from another mod? Did you install it as w_pi_combatpistol or something else?

No and I also changed nothing on it

@grizzleftw Could you download the file again + reinstall it and see if the problem still occurs?

@grizzleftw It only works for w_pi_combatpistol. I haven't tried replacing w_pi_combatpistol_luxe yet, that slot could work, maybe it doesn't, I will have a look at it.

What changed in the update yesterday?

@theninja35 Nothing, that's why I turned off the update notification. Only the screenshots were updated, I will have to remove some as soon as I add more weapons to the pack.  More guns are on the way, no worries^^

EDIT: So many screenshots^^ I guess I'll move them into the gallery and link it, and only leave a few so you know what you get when you download the files. Enjoy the Glock, most people voted for one ;)

Let me know if it worked.

What do you mean by the latest patchday? I have tired every patchday that is possible, but without success. I used to be able to put them in 8 and 11 but it doesn't seem to work anymore

Ok, let's start from the beginning: Which of the handguns would you like to install, and what exact version?

I don't have it in front of me at the moment, but I would like to install the Clock in the "pistol" slot

@OwenAlexander99 Okay, make sure that the latest patchday in your game is also copied to your mods folder - then check for a weapons.rpf inside. Repeat this until you find a patchday with the weapons.rpf folder inside. If that one isn't copied to your mods folder yet, do that now. Next, drag and drop all the w_pi_pistol files into that patchdays weapons.rpf folder, doesn't matter if they are in there by default or not.

If this doesn't work, make sure you don't have some other addon pistol mod installed as an own patchday (per OIV).

And, if you haven't done that either and it still doesn't work, well, I'd suggest you use 'Albo's modding dlc pack' and install the pistol files following his installment instructions, he made a couple of tutorials for his mod, and it makes it really easy to install all kinds of mods.

Hi guys! The weapons seem really nice! The only thing that bothers me is that you guys missed the .meta file for the glock 17 (pistol replace) in the download.

The .meta files were only added to the MK2 replacements because of the many magazine options available for those pistols, e.g. the hollow point rounds. You can easily adjust the magazine size (clipsize) for any weapon in the weapons.meta yourself, no offense ;) The P320 Compact has a default 15 rounds magazine, just so you know^^

@H145 any chance we will see and m&p40

Yes! I am very busy at the moment, but there's a good chance you'll see a  M&P 45 in the next time, and maybe a M&P 40 if I find a model for that one.
