language? in which data they are
There's not a way of getting the source code. LCPDFR is highly obfuscated and the code is protected against decompilation. You might be able to edit the language strings with hex editing or another software. However due to the copyrights you would not be able to share this with anyone. I suggest you wait until the next version is around, at which time we'll hopefully have our translation system back online.

Precinct’s crowd-funding campaign cancelled
Not something I could fund, just because it doesn't look too great and asking for $400k, in an economic climate like this is just ridiculous. There's lot of indie games started from nothing. How they need $400k for this is seriously beyond me.

This. The only way to change the language is the source code. Sorry.

What the heck is going on here.
We're quite good at developing IPB plugins and hooks. A lot of the stuff on this forum (e.g. our group system) is a massive hook.

What the heck is going on here.
Oh, I certainly agree, and believe me it will. The problem right now is moderators cannot view who rated what file, what time, their IP, etc. This will change in the coming days.

We need stricter rules. There are a lot of people on this site who are only here to troll or disrupt the community. We will eventually be forced to act on these people.

Certificate Security problems
This is sometimes caused by a virus. Something might be intercepting your HTTPS traffic.

LCPDFR Publisher could not be verfied.
Just press Open? It's not that difficult... Edit: After testing in IE there seems to be an issue with IE omitting the .exe extension. We don't support IE nor do we waste resources on fixing IE issues, so the only solution is to use a supported browser (Chrome, Firefox) or add .exe to the file manually.

No one is ever on the TS3 Server...
because people quit and don't stick around. Not our fault.

I was wondering where all this extra traffic was coming from.

GTA Vice city, san andreas and gta 3 wont work.
Windows 8 running here, running GTA SA, VC and 3 without issues. GTA 4 also works fine. You're doing something wrong.

Why do people who upload mods to modding websites say that we "May not edit" mods?
The car companies hold the designs and the copyrights for said models. If we recieved a DMCA request from Ford to take down a Ford-based model, we'd have to do so by law. If we got a DMCA request by a modder to take down Ford-based content that they 'made', we would question if they had relevant copyright and would file a counter-claim to that effect. The key is in original. Most modders do not make technically (by-law) original content, and their content is therefore not eligible for copyright. Modding sites like ours remove files on request of modders, and enforce what modders want as it is healthy for the community. We and other sites give modders 'pseudo-copyright'. It is not required by law. I'll close this topic now as this question has been answered.

Colorado skins are coming down.
You could claim fair use, in the method that putting their logo and design in GTA IV is a form of parody. This would be protected under US fair use. That being said, I don't think anyone is willing to fight a court battle on it. I think the best practice, whatever your intentions, is not to let them know in the first place. Or you could do what Rockstar/The Simpsons/Family Guy themselves do to escape legal situations. They change a letter and a design slightly so it doesn't infringe on anything.

hellooo new here
Great you've got everything working! Welcome! Check out the new ELS, and the vdH scriptmod series. They both work pretty good in comparison to LCPDFR.

1.0.4.0 or 1.0.7.0?
LCPDFR support for 1.0.4.0 was depreciated a long time ago. The new release we're working on is only compatible with the latest patch IV/EFLC.

No he didn't. He gave constructive criticism. If you don't have anything constructive to say, you're best not saying it.

Youtube is going after Gaming Channels
Copyright laws are at fault, not YouTube. You can claim Fair Use anyway.
