  1. Which it won't. Mods like this are copyright infringement. We don't deal with supporting mods like that.
  2. This is already in place. If you linked your account it will show your LCPDFR display name.
  3. Honestly I'm going to say the unpopular thing here and say that PCs are already modular. This is pretty pointless.
  4. A blue screen is a hardware or driver error and could not be caused by LCPDFR.
  5. Only compatible with Official XBOX 360 controller, as like GTA itself. Anything else you'd have to bind the keys yourself with third-party software.
  6. Cyan replied to SKi24's topic in Discussion
The server is recording all the statistics but we don't have any public frontend yet. The old one is very unoptimized and used lots of server resources so I am working on a new one.
  7. Even so, I still don't think the game was targeted for a Chinese release.
  8. Uhm. China don't allow console game sales anyway. The game didn't even have a targeted China release...
  9. Well nobody will join or post in a community that has no or little activity. One of the ways of dealing with this that the large website Reddit used, was to create fake accounts and the admins posted on these randomly until they didn't need to. Apparantly that made Reddit what it is today, as people kept joining as it looked very active. That, and a quite powerful advertising campaign. Another way is to have something exclusive that people really want that is not available anywhere else. For LCPDFR.com, that's the LCPDFR mod. I guess the final way is to have a good advertising campaign or make sure all your friends spread it and pass it on. Hope this helps a little bit.
  10. Yes. Done when it's done. Although we do hope to sort some issues out soon. For $0 you don't get any form of guaranteed support. You don't even get a warranty or even a promise from us it will be fit for purpose. The LCPDFR license:
  11. Great mods like usual Double Doppler :)
  12. That's not so bad, almost everyone has LCPDFR installed, we are one of the biggest mods for GTA IV.Plus you could use our API to do stuff which is currently not possible without the AdvancedHook.
  13. That wouldn't cause it to be detected as pirated.
  14. Why would the Steam copy have 1911.dll? That's the only thing that makes the installer think it is pirated.
  15. Moving to GTA IV Support Requests, this is the wrong forum.
  16. If you're connected to LCPDFR Online Services and have linked your account, your LCPDFR.com display name will show.
  17. Well, there is a very clear and very obvious answer. Use 0.95 RC2 or another mod until the issues are sorted in a bugfix release. The first release of any software programme will always have issues as we can't predict what will happen on every configuration. A clean install with no other mods will fix a lot of the issues people are having, however.
  18. Right click the GTA folder, press Properties, go to Security and take a screenshot of that screen.
  19. Please try again in 5-15 minutes. There are still some issues occuring because of website load.
  20. Not sure how that could have happened. Can you give more information? Does it have any negative effects or is it just the lock?
  21. The automatic installer does not permit installation on machines with less than 2GB of RAM. You can use the manual installer but please note no support will be offered for your machine.
  22. Nah there was barely any DDoS. It was just all the legitimate traffic :)
