  1. Seems to be a technical issue with some people's browsers. Seriously. Srs. Top seriousness. Serious hat on now.
  2. we put rc3 into the trash can months ago
  3. It might be. Who knows, except those in the know ? We've done countdowns before and released something else entirely.
  4. that implies we'd ever give a release date, which we wouldn't
  5. Your ISP intercepts communication with our update server and changes it, probably adding statistical tracking or adverts. Nothing we can do about crappy ISPs.
  6. I already did a tutorial in the tutorial database for this: http://www.lcpdfr.com/page/tutorials/index.action/_/script-data-file-modification-tutorials/how-to-use-a-custom-background-for-the-lcpdfr-police-computer-r22 But this can't hurt, more people will find out about it :)
  7. Absolutely excellent work. I'm sure a lot of people will enjoy this, me included.
  8. This isn't a suggestion or LCPDFR.com website support request.. Moved to General & Miscellaneous Discussion
  9. http://www.broadcastingworld.net/news/view-476/ Okay, now it really is ruined.
  10. It's really difficult to approach the issue however. A lot of modelers can't really claim any formal copyright due to the fact their models are derivatives of existing works. However, most modding sites have a shred of decency and allow you to remove models that you have created. If your content is on that site without your permission, I would at least ask them to take it down. They might do it.
  11. This really is an end of an era :( Guess for-profit media players can't really handle the Spotify/Grooveshark/Google Music competition any more.
  12. Interesting, nice texture :)
  13. LCPDFR itself is coded in a combination of C++/Assembly and .NET (C#). Most developers shouldn't have to touch C++ or the assembly side of things, so you can use C# and the .NET scripthook to make scripts.
  14. Sure, hire us some producers, publishers, designers, artists, programmers, level designers, sound engineers, testers, graphic designers, concept artists, 3D modellers, advertising and PR reps and we'll sure give it a try.
  15. Unfortunately when you use a free service you have little ability or entitlement to complain.
  16. Not true. I've worked with massive, massive databases, and a simple simple transaction like that is super quick if you've built your database competently.
  17. I like how long it takes for them to do a simple UPDATE `players` SET `money` = `money` + 500000
  18. You can't use our mod on that version of the game.
  19. Part of what she says makes sense. Obesity is an epidemic and parents need to do more for the sake of their children. Although, this is probably the wrong way to go about it.
  20. Already been debunked a few months ago by some electrical engineers. Just a massive social engineering campaign to get the founders (which don't know anything about electronics or engineering) some press. Perhaps also a scam? Note how unlike other crowdfunded ideas they are accepting donations directly from their site (without a verifying middleman) for something which is completely just an idea without even a technical plan.
  21. You've actually made the Windows 8.1 start screen really nice. Didn't know that was possible.
  22. On some newer Dells it will be FN+F1. It'll be the key that looks like the laptop screen and a monitor.
