  1. For December, G17 Media is starting trials on a new in-house DDoS protection technology. As this is a constant problem for groups, we're offering this for free (for a beta testing period of 3 or so months). This protection offers 20 Gbit of DDoS protection against TCP and UDP attacks, and has been very successful in keeping LCPDFR online and other clients' sites online. Unlike CloudFlare, we also provide protection for other services on your server (TeamSpeak, game servers, HTTPS and almost any other TCP/UDP service). We also make sure any outbound traffic is sent via our servers, concealing your servers true location and IP at all times. To take full advantage of this offer, you will need a US VPS or dedicated server. If you do not have a VPS or dedicated server, we can only provide limited services (basic website protection). DDoS protection for servers not in the US are not available as part of this offer due to bandwidth costs. Limited spaces available, first come first served. Priority will be granted to groups on our group system. We reserve the right to approve or deny applications at our discretion. 2. MODERATOR NOTICE Wrong forum, moved to LCPDFR Discussion. This is not a website support issue or suggestion. Please note that posting in the wrong place repeatedly can result in sanctions to your account.
  3. IE11 is actually really nice. If it had a decent add-on API and lots of decent add-ons like Chrome I'd probably use it as my browser. It's way faster than Chrome/Firefox in my experience. Try clearing cookies, etc.
  4. Some badly configured firewall somewhere, or a virus that is hiding from AVG.
  5. every time someone asks for a release date we delay the release by an hour
  6. Nothing to see here! This topic has been closed by LCPDFR.com staff. If you feel that this topic has been closed in error, please report this post.
  7. Yeah unless you've been living in a hole, you should know it pretty much works fine.
  8. yeah please don't he'll ruin the whole site i'll probably have to restore it all from a backup it'll be so ruined
  9. To be honest, in no fashion does it actually say we see it there, we could just be referring to you crazy people that think it's an actual thing :P
  10. Seems to be a technical issue with some people's browsers. Seriously. Srs. Top seriousness. Serious hat on now.
  11. we put rc3 into the trash can months ago
  12. It might be. Who knows, except those in the know ? We've done countdowns before and released something else entirely.
  13. that implies we'd ever give a release date, which we wouldn't
  14. Your ISP intercepts communication with our update server and changes it, probably adding statistical tracking or adverts. Nothing we can do about crappy ISPs.
  15. I already did a tutorial in the tutorial database for this: http://www.lcpdfr.com/page/tutorials/index.action/_/script-data-file-modification-tutorials/how-to-use-a-custom-background-for-the-lcpdfr-police-computer-r22 But this can't hurt, more people will find out about it :)
  16. Absolutely excellent work. I'm sure a lot of people will enjoy this, me included.
  17. This isn't a suggestion or LCPDFR.com website support request.. Moved to General & Miscellaneous Discussion
  18. http://www.broadcastingworld.net/news/view-476/ Okay, now it really is ruined.
  19. It's really difficult to approach the issue however. A lot of modelers can't really claim any formal copyright due to the fact their models are derivatives of existing works. However, most modding sites have a shred of decency and allow you to remove models that you have created. If your content is on that site without your permission, I would at least ask them to take it down. They might do it.
