Aww. Free software getting you down? :( Don't use it then. :) Most people have decent enough computers to run LCPDFR. Complains for 1.0 are coming from the minority, not the majority. Our hotfix fixed most of the issues, there's still one or two crashing issues which are caused by GTA's engine.

You can argue this point as much as you want -- it's not going to magically fix it, the thing is LCPDFR depends on .NET 4.5 and some of the new features of it -- .NET 4.5 doesn't exist on Windows XP. It's not as simple as changing the .NET framework target. If it was, don't you think we would have already done it? We're not going to make a separate version for XP users. Whether Microsoft chooses to support XP for the .NET 4.5 in the future is their choice, if they do, LCPDFR will work. This is probably our last official response and stance on this issue.

Our main server is in Germany, and our main caching server/DDoS deflation server is in Canada. If you're so concerned about NSA spying, not using the Internet or a mobile phone would be your best move.

Honestly I'm going to say the unpopular thing here and say that PCs are already modular. This is pretty pointless.

A blue screen is a hardware or driver error and could not be caused by LCPDFR.

Only compatible with Official XBOX 360 controller, as like GTA itself. Anything else you'd have to bind the keys yourself with third-party software.

The server is recording all the statistics but we don't have any public frontend yet. The old one is very unoptimized and used lots of server resources so I am working on a new one.

Even so, I still don't think the game was targeted for a Chinese release.

Well nobody will join or post in a community that has no or little activity. One of the ways of dealing with this that the large website Reddit used, was to create fake accounts and the admins posted on these randomly until they didn't need to. Apparantly that made Reddit what it is today, as people kept joining as it looked very active. That, and a quite powerful advertising campaign. Another way is to have something exclusive that people really want that is not available anywhere else. For LCPDFR.com, that's the LCPDFR mod. I guess the final way is to have a good advertising campaign or make sure all your friends spread it and pass it on. Hope this helps a little bit.

That's not so bad, almost everyone has LCPDFR installed, we are one of the biggest mods for GTA IV.Plus you could use our API to do stuff which is currently not possible without the AdvancedHook.
