  1. Please upload the log that the diagnostic tool creates.
  2. Run the diagnostic tool located in the LCPDFR folder and upload the resulting log here.
  3. If the mod works then you can ignore it.
  4. Thank you for a detailed report. For the blurriness, that is a GTA IV function. Press P again and it will return to normal. You can change the keybind for definition in the control options on the pause screen. For the exit error, you can ignore that. It is related to how LCPDFR installs the taser. For the d3dx9_43.dll, install this: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35 For the directory issues, only "LCPDFR Loader.net.dll" should be in the scripts folder. Everything else should be in the main GTA IV folder. If you have a folder (folder, not file) called "LCPD First Response," this is because the installation screwed up. Open it, and copy all of its contents out to your main GTA IV folder, then delete it.
  5. Locking this as the topic has moved on to an LCPDFR issue, and you have another topic here: '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>> Nothing to see here! This topic has been closed by LCPDFR.com staff. If you feel that this topic has been closed in error, please report this post.
  6. Run the LCPDFR Diagnostics tool in the LCPDFR folder and post the log it creates here. For your ELS issues, I'm not sure, but fixing LCPDFR may also fix ELS.
  7. When you press Alt-E as Morpheus explained, the backup units will join the pursuit. If you don't, then they will just go to your location.
  8. Locking this as it is an issue related to LCPDFR, and you have made another topic here: '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>> Nothing to see here! This topic has been closed by LCPDFR.com staff. If you feel that this topic has been closed in error, please report this post.
  9. It's because of the way LCPDFR installs the taser in the game. It doesn't cause any issues and can be ignored (you don't have to reboot your system).
  10. ELS 8 should work fine, but if you install it do not use the AdvancedHook.dll that comes with it. It is an old version, the new version that comes with LCPDFR 1.0d is required and should be compatible with ELS 8.
  11. Are you pressing Alt-E to clear yourself when you complete a call? You can know whether you are clear or not by looking to the left of the radar - there will be a phone symbol if you are not clear, but don't confuse this with the phone symbol to the bottom right of the radar that indicates you will not receive phone calls in-game. Also make sure you are not set to busy by pressing F7.
  12. I had errors with placing barriers too, but it hasn't been consistent enough to find the circumstances where it happens.
  13. Will replied to shaw1693's topic in Discussion
Yes. It should work on any version of Windows later than XP.
  14. It only resets your game when it crashed unexpectedly, not when you quit. Try using the command RestoreSession after starting the game.
  15. Download the manual install of LCPDFR and copy all of the contents to your main GTA IV directory. For some reason some scripts are not starting. Also make sure you do not have ScriptHookDotNet.dll in your directory, only ScriptHookDotNet.asi However, it might only say that because it is crashing on start (before those scripts can start), but still a reinstall with the manual installation may help.
  16. I provided a possible solution for your specific problem in your topic. For the OP of this topic, we're going to need logs to be able to help you. First of all, try reinstalling LCPDFR using the manual installation.
  17. Install this: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35
  18. Try reinstalling LCPDFR using the manual installation. The diagnostic log is in the LCPDFR folder, I need you to upload your other logs that are in the main GTA IV folder (where LaunchGTAIV.exe or LaunchEFLC.exe is) if the manual installation doesn't work.
  19. That error just means that the game crashed before LCPDFR could create a savegame (either LCPDFR was never started, or it crashed less than 30 seconds after starting LCPDFR). It isn't the cause of a crash.
  20. Does LCPDFR itself run? Are you able to start the mod and go to the police station, then go on duty? "but the problem still stands out from the rest in this mode , only the police car ? MORE was above youtube" Are you saying that you don't have the same police car as people on YouTube? They are probably using third-party car mods, which are unrelated to the LCPDFR modification. There are tutorials around to teach you how to install car mods.
  21. So you're not pressing Alt-P? You have to press Alt-P to start the mod... That is your diagnostics log, which says there are no errors. Please upload the file called "LCPDFR.log" (and any other files that end in ".log" as they may be helpful as well) from the main game directory if it isn't working.
  22. Either aim at another police officer outside and press G, or re-enter the police station and get another one the same way you got the first.
  23. Are you pressing Alt-P after you load the game? If it doesn't work, please upload your LCPDFR.log file.
  24. You definitely have LukeD's Callouts+ installed. Ctrl-R is the default keybind for calling an ambulance in his script.
