You can replace the line for policew in vehicles.ide in your TBoGT folder with this: policew, policew, car, POLICE, POLICE, VEH@STD, VEH@STD_RI1, 100, 999, 0.2345, 0.2345, 0.2, 2, 1.0 ,1, ext_requi+ext_strong+livery The first POLICE corresponds to the handling line the car will use (by default policew does not have its own), and the second POLICE corresponds to the game name (basically just what engine sound will be used). To get it to not spawn in traffic, add policew to cargrp.dat at the end of the line with all of the other police vehicles (I did this to both cargrp.dat in the main folder and in the TBoGT folder). You can then add policew to AdditionalCopCarModels in LCPDFR.ini.

They only work when the headlights are on (at night or if you turn on the highbeams during the day). No, you type it in the console which is opened by pressing ~ on normal qwerty keyboards.

I believe you would delete a savegame by deleting "Savegame.fr" in your root GTA IV folder, for future reference.

Just as a note: you will have to disable avast! antivirus' shields before downloading the automatic installer. It detects it as a suspicious item and blocks it from downloading, but there isn't anything harmful in the file (obviously). Probably applies to other AV software as well.

Don't forget that the GTA V map isn't all of San Andreas...there's also Las Venturas and San Fierro in the state.

The game will not recognize customized controls unless you turn on direct input. I think you might also have to assign all of the other buttons as well, but maybe not. Edit: Or maybe direct input has to be off, not sure.

I don't think anyone has ever had any problems with installing LCPDFR on the Steam version, so you should be fine.
