Arresting suspect then handed over to my backup but they do not transport the suspect.

Featured Replies

As it says in the title, I have been playing around in LCPDFR 1.0d and it works fine except when I pull over someone and arrest them I press N on my keyboard so backup handles the suspect.

When the backup arrives and takes the suspect into the car they sent them inside the car and then (both) police officers just walk away like they completely forgot about the suspect; leaving their car and walking away. :s

This is a weird bug for me I don't know if anyone else has the same issue but would be glad if anyone knows a fix to this.

Either way I still have the ability to drive the suspect to the nearest police station but i prefer backup handling with that. ^^

I have the same issue, but it doesn't always happen. I think its just the NPC AI. I think you can also change a setting in the ini file to make the prisoner disappear immediately upon pressing the 'N'.

I have seen that issue and even narrowing it down more, if I watch the officers all the way into their car, they will drive away, but it I take my eyes off of them even for a moment, they will vanish.  Not sure if this is also the case for you too.

I think tha'ts just the way the game works, if you don't look at it and depending on what scrpits you have active, it refreshes the games memory so they disappear the o/p's problem and one that I've noticed is that they just place the prisoner in the car and then walk way from the car, I've also noticed they'll leave their partner behind, EMT's have a habit of doing that with ambulances' too. So it probably is just the AI, it is GTA after all XD.
