  1. Make the spotlight light extra_6, then set your warning lights to tkdn in the VCF. Activating takedowns will turn on the spotlight. You can set extra_5 to anything, it will just always flash.
  2. The callout probably won't load if you are in the yellow circle when you accept it. I think LCPDFR will cancel it because it could result in people and/or cars spawning right in front of you. Press Y as soon as you get the callout.
  3. AdvancedHookInit.asi also patches some things in the game to make it more stable, and allows you to use the taser. It should work fine in EFLC, especially since I'm pretty sure LMS does all his testing on EFLC. Still, removing it could fix the issue because it is loading with the game. Also make sure the game loads without LCPDFR installed. If it doesn't, then it's a different problem altogether.
  4. Before reinstalling the game, make sure to delete the entire GTA IV directory. Simply uninstalling will not remove everything if you have added mods. If you have issues with LCPDFR, be sure to post in the LCPDFR Support section because you will be shown a troubleshooter with the most common issues. Also, no one is entitled to support. Saying things like "STILL NO HELP" will probably make it less likely that you will get help.
  5. Install these (x86 if given the option): http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30679 http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30653 http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=5555 http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35
  6. I believe he has the ambulance priority (siren 4) as the manual siren, which he made the extended tone like that. If he held it longer, it would loop back.
  7. Please post your logs - ScriptHookDotNet.log and LCPDFR.log are most important.
  8. Try opening LCPDFR.ini and setting PreloadAllModels=True If that setting doesn't exist, create it under [Main].
  9. MODERATOR NOTICE Your thread has been moved to the GTA IV Support Requests forum, as it is not an LCPDFR support request.
  10. MODERATOR NOTICE Moving to GTA IV Support Requests. The General & Miscellaneous Discussion section is a general purpose forum for all forms of miscellaneous discussion not catered for by any subject-specific forum.
  11. I live just outside of Poughkeepsie, in Hyde Park :D
  12. [ ENV_LIGHT_COLORS ] Extra_1 = red Extra_2 = red Extra_3 = blue Extra_4 = blue Extra_5 = white Extra_6 = white Extra_7 = red Extra_8 = white Extra_9 = blue You would want to change these to whatever color you want those extras to be (blue in this case). Extras 1-4 are the primary lights, usually a lightbar. Extras 5-6 are warning lights, usually takedowns. Extras 7-9 are warning lights, usually a traffic adviser or message board. This all depends on the vehicle, of course. The main lights that shine the brightest are the primaries, extras 1-4. That is for environmental lighting. If the actual light is still not blue, then there might be multiple places that you have to change the color. There could be multiple .png files in the .wtd that would need editing. Again, this all depends on the model.
  13. Do you mean the environment lighting is red or the actual light is red? If it's the environment lighting, then you need to change the color of the light in the vehicle configuration file for your car (assuming you are using ELS 7+). This would be in the ELS folder.
  14. It goes in LCPDFR.ini, not all of the options are there by default. If you use the diagnostics tool, there are check boxes for more options that might not originally be in LCPDFR.ini. This mainly applies to settings added in the updates to 1.0.
  15. DisableRandomPoliceChatter=True will disable the random chatter, but I'm not sure about the dispatch. Have you tried...turning your volume down?
  16. Yes, but performance depends on what card you have.
  17. What key do you have set to enter the car? The default is F. If you are opening the rear door, then you are pressing the key in LCPDFR to open that door, default is E.
  18. MODERATOR NOTICE Your thread has been moved to the GTA IV Support Requests forum, as it is not an LCPDFR support request. It's an issue with the car model that you cannot fix, unless it is unlocked. Some cars not optimized for ELS 8 will have issues like this, but most should be fine.
  19. ELS turns anything named extra_1, extra_2, etc on and off repeatedly, basically the same as checking and unchecking extra_# in the hierarchy. It has to be named exactly that, though. Anything within the extra_# dummy will flash. So, yes, what BlackJesus1 said.
  20. The holiday/winter sale should start sometime during the week of the 25th.
  21. From what I understand after reading it, the bill just says that people have freedom of religion...something that has been in place since the beginning of this country. Also note that I only read the bill and not any of the other links, since it's all bound to be biased and only looking to make the internet angry.
  22. According to LMS, the error you are having (System.TypeLoadException: Could not load type 'System.Runtime.CompilerServices.ExtensionAttribute') happens because you have .NET Framework 4.0 installed, and not .NET Framework 4.5. Installing 4.5 from the link I previously posted should fix the error. If not, then I don't know.
  23. Because that's all ELS lights are...textures that light up. If you want a better bloom effect, then you need an "Enhanced Natural Bloom" mod, otherwise known as an ENB. The default game's lights will not be very bright. Timecyc or visualsettings mods will work as well, and will not have as much of an impact on performance. I personally use this: '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>
  24. I'm pretty sure the other person is using an ENB, or other graphic enhancing mod.
