  1. Maybe not in a first basic release, but almost certainly in the future as more things are explored.
  2. So would Interiors mod be included in that? it seems like it had effort put into it.
  3. GOOD. Willingly murdering people for an evil ideology is something only a truly disturbed individual could do. He deserved it.
  4. I was just thinking - now that there are trainers etc. which can play animations, will it be possible to use weapon anims from one weapon on another one? Because i like the way the characters hold the baseball bat - with two hands - and want the nightstick to behave in the same way. Is there some kind of text file i can edit to make it like this?
  5. Both Avast and Malwarebytes declare the file safe, and a full sys scan shows nothing. Also, there's none of the files that people on GTAForums are reporting come with the infected files. It seems like the interiors mod is safe, as Alexander Blade has looked into it and found nothing. GTA5-Mods is actually OK, at the moment it seems like the most popular V mod site.
  6. God, I hope it's a safe file. I put my credit details into Amazon after playing the game with this, might have to check my bank now.
  7. I have a few concepts for a gang mod, just as an example: Much like LCPDFR, you can activate the mod and choose a model at the police station (the reason is, when you start the mod you're released on bail).recruitable homies for each gang.for each gang, there would be several 'callouts' which you can do for money - make a drug deal with rival gangs (with a random chance of it going sour and having to shoot your way out), perform a drive-by on a rival gang, make deals with the Mafia for weapons and drugs, and take rivals 'for a ride' in the country, and hold a meeting with a random chance of it being interrupted by the cops.If you get busted, you spawn in the prison as a convict, with a countdown until you're released. When you get out, your model is changed to an OG gangster. There probably wouldn't be territory takeovers, as that would be hard to code.
  8. So using these files, is it possible to set cops to use nightsticks at 1 star? the security guards do it, so maybe it won't be a hard thing to do.
  9. What happened to him? did he just go quiet some time ago?
  10. And that's why people are making dedicated server mods.
  11. 'Yes, we could make an FOV slider and put it in the next patch, but naaah, we'll sit back and watch all the money flow in'.
  12. Problem with that is that GTA V only has so many different ped models, so unless the Bounty target is a unique model like a story mode character, it would get a bit silly as you see clones of every generic citizen and try to arrest them.
  13. Well, if they exist in the game files then there could be a way to enable them in SP, maybe by altering it with OpenIV.
  14. Because everybody always reads the legal documents in full before playing, right?
  15. I have an idea... after you start the mod (maybe by doing the standard ALT + P?) you get teleported to the Mission Row station where you pick a model and car etc. I don't think the station's locker room or garage have any interiors, so using those in some way is probably out of the question.
  16. In addition, when doing traffic stops and walking up to the driver's window, you character could do that animation in case the driver draws a gun.
  17. Amazing! I have an idea for frisking too- in the Underbelly Of Paradise tv show, there's guys with their hands against the wall being frisked. It would be cool if we could do that!!
  18. Fantastic screenshots, they look really nice! One thing tho- in the screenshot with the guy in the purple shirt on the floor, is he just getting up or is it some fancy newfangled arresting animation?
  19. It's kind of sad, all the modding sites are switching over to V, and IV modding is just being wound down slowly. I'll miss it.
  20. Also, I'd like a random traffic stop callout where a drunk driver insists 'he can break these cuffs'.
  21. I'm quite surprised it took so little time to get some basic functionality in V when the mod has been developed for years on IV. I concur on the idea that the character switch could be implemented in some way; say as an LSPD officer, a suspect flees up the highway, and you have to switch to a sheriff waiting a few miles up the road to continue the chase. That would be amazing, but probably hard to implement.
  22. When I first saw that announcement, 'Ode to joy' started playing in my head.
  23. I'm kind of split on this; the driving in V suits the overall theme and setting of the game - speedy and fun - whereas IV had driving that embodified it's own setting - clumsy, depressing and slow, much like Liberty City.
  24. So yeah, you could probably fit Liberty and North Yankton into the same space, if a modelling tool is made for the game.
