  1. I'm not sure if I've found a bug, but I found when I placed a suspect in the cells and tasered him, nearby officers rushed in and started beating him up. I suppose it adds to the LSPD experience though.
  2. It isn't working for me- everything else you've made (callouts, arrest manager etc.) loads up, but for some reason this isn't working ingame at all. It says in the Rage logs that it's loaded in, but none of the keys work ingame.
  3. Frisking anims don't exist (a placeholder like the Vehicle/Ped search mods use works well enough though), but the animations for holding/escorting the suspect (from a side mission) could potentially have a use if they're multiple animations, not just one long one like the cutscene animations.
  4. Are IV textures compatible with V's models? I thought there was a complex conversion process involved. While using the textures from the IV peds would be a simple solution, they're very low-detail compared to the stock textures, so what I was thinking was taking the stock textures into Photoshop and using the color replacement tool to make them a powder blue. Would that work?
  5. While the regular LSPD uniform is decent enough, I would love it if someone could make (or help me with) making a powder blue variant of the long-sleeve and short-sleeve shirts for both male and female officers, something like this: Thanks for looking :P
  6. It's definitely a series, much like Police Quest, which needs a kick-started revival to show tactical games like them can succeed in today's market, as the antidote to the mass-market MLG dudebro Call of Medal of Battlefield shooty-boom games. As others have said, there's no shame in downloading this one from a torrent as the developers are probably long gone and the franchise is in limbo, so no one really cares. I for one would love to see a SWAT- style tactical callout mod for GTA; like swat 4's tactical orders system transplanted to work with bodyguards/partners in lspdfr (perhaps a little like the orders menu from lcpdfr 1.0)>
  7. Is there any news on if we can grab and move arrested people in 0.3? I'm sure it's one of the communities' most requested features.
  8. As many people have pointed out, the newest versions of LSPDFR have some effects on the damage dealt by guns on suspects. I for one am not really satisfied with the current system (after all, it takes about a clip and a half on the default pistol to drop a determined suspect currently). In possible future versions, perhaps an optional feature (maybe toggleable in an .INI file?) could be a feature similar to Hardcore mode from LCPDFR, where default weapon damage is increased, firefights are over faster and cover becomes invaluable. Is this an idea that could be taken into account in the future?
  9. I hope the ones responsible are captured and face justice. I think the entire Western world has had enough of these savages, we need to eliminate them before another event like this can happen. Long live France.
  10. Have you heard of a game in development called 'This Is The Police'? It's basically most of what you described - you play as a police chief with six months of his career left before retirement, you control deployment of officers, handle public relations etc. and you have a choice to be corrupt and get bribe money. You might like that.
  11. Hopefully your actual job is a lot less dangerous than in the prison in San Andreas :p
  12. I have an idea for a pursuit feature - maybe there could be a small chance that, during a pursuit, the suspect just gives up and pulls over? it would give a bit of variety to the usual 'drag the guy out of the car and beat his ass into the cuffs' pursuit endings.
  13. Thing is, GTA IV is so unstable with script mods that extended sessions of LCPDFR were kind of impossible. I actually kept two copies on my drive - one exclusively for LCPDFR, and the other for random stuff. I deleted the 'FR copy last week (I gave it a little funeral) because GTA V has kind of made it obsolete in near every way. I still love Liberty City's map though- I kind of want to see an expanded map in the new engine; Liberty city and Liberty state/Alderney, the same size as Los Santos. That would be amazing.
  14. I'm not sure if full vehicle model functionality is possible ingame yet, but I would love it if someone could try making a little favorite car of mine - the 1972 Interceptor special from the original Mad Max movie. It's definitely a unique vehicle, and pursuits in the desert region would be epic with this car chasing the Duke 'o Death :p
  15. Incidentally, will 0.3 have any improvements to the way the AI handles traffic stops? It's a little immersion-breaking when a car stops in the middle lane of a crowded highway rather than going onto the hard shoulder.
  16. The anticipation is killing me. What's worse is that the new Online update next week may screw with Ragehook and make things difficult for the devs again.
  17. As there appears to be a Riot shield model in the game, I was wondering if there are any animations to go along with it to make it playable ingame? it would be epic for melee fighting and riot situations alongside tear gas. Perhaps AI officers could make use of it too.
  18. I have an idea - if you're dealing with an unarmed or knife wielding suspect, maybe the mod could make use of the nightstick as a non-lethal weapon. Say you hit the guy, and instead of just dying, he would get knocked onto his knees to be cuffed. This looks amazing, and a brilliant mod considering the dev time.
  19. That's an idea - maybe when you bring a guy to the station, you and the guy teleport to that interior for processing. That would be a nice little feature.
  20. Yes, that's the strange part; traffic stops work only very rarely with the plugin running, that was from when it worked (my mistake sorry). The screenshots should show it's installed correctly:
  21. From the log, this is a traffic stop without this plugin installed: [03/10/2015 04:52:45 PM.098] LSPD First Response: Player out of car. [03/10/2015 04:52:45 PM.121] LSPD First Response: Stopped car found. Whereas, with this plugin installed it's: [03/10/2015 04:58:59 PM.813] LSPD First Response: Traffic Policer by Albo1125 has been loaded successfully! [03/10/2015 04:59:39 PM.823] LSPD First Response: Start ask for keys. [03/10/2015 04:59:53 PM.770] LSPD First Response: Start ask for keys. Here's the full log:
  22. I have a problem when using this plugin - I can't pull anyone over. They stop at the side of the road, but the traffic stop menus don't appear. Has anyone else had this? it only happens when this is installed.
