  1. It's already confirmed as a feature. All it's doing is switching accessories when you pull out a weapon.
  2. True dat, basically everything R* does recently is aimed at getting you to buy their ridiculous Shark cards, something someone on PC would never do. It's a shame, as if they actually provided a dev kit for the RAGE engine, GTA could be the next Skyrim; the ultimate open-world sandbox mod playground, where any idea could become reality.
  3. Collecting action figures. I may be a grown-ass man, but I still like toys.
  4. So I just looked at some of the arresting animations (singleplayer and online) with SNT, and I can say that we're all in for a treat!
  5. A spotlight mod (for choppers at least) already exists, just use that until the team looks at it, probably later on: https://www.gta5-mods.com/scripts/simple-police-searchlight
  6. There's a solution already: the OpenIV team have developed a script which allows you to use copies of the original files to load mods, leaving the original files untouched. You can get it: http://gtaforums.com/topic/388289-rel-openiv-including-openformats/page-122
  7. Unless you mess around with the .META files of the peds, it'll probably be a while before we discover how to do that. Incidentally, I kind of like the badge system- it means that the insignia are a lot more detailed and at a higher resolution than if they were on the shirt texture.
  8. So I've been playing the game fine for about a week, but recently the game has been giving me flickering textures, (with occasional white flashing) and then it crashes completely after about five minutes of gameplay, usually when shooting or driving. This only started to occur after the most recent Nvidia driver, and I've tested a backup copy of the game with no mods, and still have the same issue. Does anyone else have this issue or a fix? It's massively annoying, and I can't figure out why it's suddenly started doing this. EDIT: Problem fixed: turned out to be a bad mod texture I installed, seems to be working OK after I removed it.
  9. My guess is a few more screenshots this weekend, a trailer by the end of next week and a release in the first week of June.
  10. As an extension of this, i'd like to see a whole spectrum of career-based mods; if you get tired of being a cop in LSPDFR, just play as a medic or fireman instead. Still not satisfied? mods that let you be a pilot, truck driver, soldier, janitor, FIB/IAA agent, gangsta, farmer, prison guard and much more would be amazing. And putting that in Online dedicated servers would be gaming Nirvana.
  11. Same here - with LSPDFR and the Rockstar Editor, the creative possibilities are endless; dashcam pursuits, COPS- style documentaries, action scenes - I literally have tons of ideas I could user the mod for :).
  12. Farewell GTA IV; Your port was subpar, yet you were eternally redeemed by the valiant coding efforts of G17. Rest in gaming peace. Glory be to our lord Gaben, Amen.
  13. That's not what I meant; Michael has two police outfits- SAHP and LSPD. The LSPD one is a beta which probably was abandoned during development, so it looks different compared to the normal cops. Like this:
  14. It's a different color to the normal LSPD, so it looks out of place.
  15. So now this is out, hopefully someone will modify Michael's police uniform to look like the normal cop uniform, that would be cool.
  16. Probably some jealous peasant who kept asking 'lolz iz this on xbox??!"??' and snapped.
  17. Sam, I have a question - in the new screens, we see perps being arrested on their knees and on the ground. Question is, will we be able to choose how the perp is cuffed (standing up, on knees, or lying down?) and in front or behind the back (because in Online, one of the character animations is walking cuffed in front)?
  18. *Head explodes with the awesomeness of these screens*
  19. I can't speak for American citizen's views on law enforcement equipment and gun control, but it seems to me like allowing automatic assault rifles, machine guns and heavy ordnance to freely flow around the country into the hands of potential criminals is a recipe for disaster. Wouldn't a better Presidential decision be to restrict certain types of ammo - say armor piercing FMJ rounds (which would never be needed by civilians unless they're in a warzone) for civilian gun owners? that way, they wouldn't be able to penetrate Police body armor, giving the LEO's an edge in a firefight.
  20. Well, if ANPR is implemented and it shows the plates as belonging to a person with a warrant, it could be useful.
  21. Or perhaps Lshift could be normal stop, and Rshift could be a felony stop where you order the driver out. That would be amazing.
  22. Images added to a gallery album owned by OfficerJessica in GTA V Galleries
Famous movie scenes imitated in GTA V
  23. If playing as Trevor in the HPatrol uniform, one of the ticket options for stops should be 'kill and eat driver'.
