Ferguson Bomb Plot Foiled
What kind of adds insult to injury is that the shooting was (kinda) justified- the guy charged at an officer of the law with intent to injure or kill, and he responded with force. If he could he would have probably shot Brown in the leg to immobilize him, but didn't have time. Also, my opinion (not trying to start a flamewar here or anything) but the media covering this has conveniently overlooked the fact that Brown had robbed a store beforehand and was probably looking to stash the loot when he got stopped by the cop. He was guilty as hell but the media holds him as a faux-martyr, which I don't agree with.

Fatty Kim Jong Un Threatens US With Nuclear Warfare, Yet Again
Kim Jon-un is like the fat nerdy kid in school who wanted people to notice him, and these blatant BS nuclear statements reinforce that view.

Do You Think GTA V Will Be Easier On Computers in Terms of Graphics?
Yes. The joke being that barely anyone can play it because it's turned out almost as bad as IV's port for performance.

Do You Think GTA V Will Be Easier On Computers in Terms of Graphics?
If you can run Assassin's Creed Unity, you can run GTA V. I think you get the joke.

V cop radio/weapon animations
Hey all, I just had a thought that could relate to the PC version of V when it comes out- do the cops in V have static weapon objects on their belts like IV, or are they actual weapon objects that can be used like in Red Dead Redemption? It's a small thing, but it could add to game immersion. Also, are there animations for using the radios in the cop cars? that would make getting callouts in a PD mod for V even better.

Goddamn dealers
Might I ask what Ped mod you're using? I haven't seen that uniform before and it looks good.

GTA V for PC to not be Mod Capable
It's an open issue- V's file structure, i remember hearing, is reasonably similar to IV, with similar file formats, so graphical/player mods shouldn't be much of an issue if SparkV or OpenV is developed. Scripts are the main issue; if it does use some kind of Uber-painful DRM (personally i think R* have learned their lesson this time around and may give in to Singleplayer mode scripting) then it may take months to get the modding community going. Best case scenario is that they include 2 file locations and .EXE's for singleplayer and online- mod the shit out of singleplayer, but wrap Online up protection to deter cheaters, which would be a fair trade. They could make Online's files entirely Cloud-based to deter cheaters if that's what they want.

Abortion (what is your opinion)
I didn't say I was advocating abortion as the be-all-and-end-all of contraception. All i'm getting at here is that abortion should be given to expecting women as an option if they think the baby may have illness or some other life-threatening condition, which in the long term will prevent it suffering. As for the 'it's a life' side of the argument, kids die every day on this earth. If it's aborted in the early- to -mid stages of pregnancy (the foetus doesn't become concious until 20+ weeks in) it won't feel a thing. It isn't murder, it's a genuine chance to save a child suffering if it has harmful genetic conditions.

Abortion (what is your opinion)
In my view, what happens in YOUR body is YOUR choice. No government can make personal decisions like this illegal; its against everything a free society stands for. Choosing to have a child or not is the mother's choice alone. It's also quite relevant that abortion should be made a valid option in these times of over-population.

when do you think lcpdfr 1.1 would be released?
Is there any point developing it further when V's release is imminent? I can see a bug-fix patch perhaps, but I think most modders will migrate to V when it comes out.

Mass Immigration To The UK
The thing everyone here knows, and the government refuses to acknowledge, is that the UK is a small island with capacity already reached, and public services- NHS (public health), housing, unemployment dole etc. are stretched to capacity to cover the influx of unwanted immigrants. The problems have arisen from our frankly ludicrous public benefits/ unemployment benefit system that is the main reason illegal immigrants want in- they see getting into the UK and getting the money we hand out like nothing as some kind of El Dorado. I can say that any sense of community in some areas has been destroyed by the influx of immigrants creating micro-ghettos in government-funded housing. The government is refusing to allow any US or Australian style solution of deporting illegals because of political correctness and 'diversity'. Count yourselves lucky you're not governed by a bunch of morons with too much money like we are in the UK. And before anyone says anything, this is an opinion, not a rant.

But no controls list. anywhere.

Enforcer: Police Crime Action - Police Simulator
My first impressions: It definitely needs work; considering it's a Unity engine game, it does sort of feel half-finished. The devs have said they'll keep updating with new features, but the main problem i have with it is the overall presentation. It doesn't really have a tutorial or tell you most of the controls, and it does have some unexplained quirks such as no voices or animations for half of the activities, and wonky physics. It has missions rather than callouts, which have a timer, and I think it doesn't suit this type of game. Overall, the game is decent if you can master the controls and the hit-and-miss presentation.

What Do You Do When You Are Done With Your Shift On LCPDFR
i like to end a PD shift by spawning a group of Brucies and having a mass brawl on top of a skyscraper. And then I go home, start up GTA IV and play LCPDFR.

Keeping a Desktop PC dust-free
hi all, I have a little problem- every few days my computer and desk all look like they've been through a dust storm. Is there a good way of keeping a computer reasonably dust-free? i have to keep using an anti-static cloth on it every few days but it doesn't last long. Is there a better way of making sure it doesn't get too dusty?

ENB or ICEENHANCER?
I tried Ice 3.0 and its ok, though the stock corona sirens on ambulances and cop cars are a bit screwed up when using it. Is Cryenb the one most people use?

ENB or ICEENHANCER?
hi all, I've recently started looking at some graphics mods, and apparently there's 2 choices- Iceenhancer 3.0 or an ENB. my question here is, which one has the most realistic look without having ridiculous amounts of reflections and OTT lighting effects? I preferably want something that has a realistic look- making the night timecycle very dark, decent anti aliasing etc. Does anyone have any suggestions on this?

reading Rights
hi guys, I have a suggestion that could make an arrest more realistic- when a suspect is arrested and put in a car, when you drive him to the station some text could appear- you reading the suspect his rights, e.g. 'anything you say can be used against you etc'. Text appearing over people's heads for speech already works, so it wouldn't be that hard to implement. What do you think?

Tasering a moving car
Off topic here, but i have a simple question- can you taser a driver while he's moving, and if so what happens?

Are You Religious, Or Non-Religious?
I don't believe in religion, as mostly it's just a written tool to keep the masses fearful and ignorant, and the priests in money. I also just don't like the fact that innocent stories in a book written 2000 years ago are exploited for profit and used as grounds for violence and war today.

Should UK Police Be Given Standard Issue Guns?
I'm on the fence here. There are genuine reasons for some local forces (such as N. Ireland) to carry guns, but one of the biggest reasons UK bobbies don't carry is the notion of 'Policing by Consent' - I.E. Police should be able to deal with any threat peacefully before it necessitates the use of force, and they require the public's trust in order to fulfill their duties, which by and large they do here. Carrying guns is seen as a threatening action and thus they would lose that trust. If, however, there is a real danger to an officer's life in areas where gang crime and violent crime is higher, such as inner-city Manchester or Glasgow, then I think there should be a safe fallback such as carrying a Rubber bullet gun on their belt, or a shotgun in the back of their patrol cars which can only be used when authorized. There have been situations in the past such as the Manchester shooting, or a situation recently where a man in a traffic stop pulled an illegal revolver and shot an officer in the hand (and he was still disarmed and arrested without the use of guns) when the issue of standard-issue guns were debated in Parliament, but these have never got anywhere as most officers said they didn't want them.

Enforcer: Police Crime Action - Police Simulator
Keep in mind it only had 4 people working on it, so don't expect the world from this game. I think it looks OK in a low-budget sort of way, and i like the character personalisation element they're putting in it, so i may check it out on release.
